Oh my goodness - SO excited to be in one of these again.

EDD: June 17

Your Age: 32

Your General Location: Pacific NW

This babe will be child #?: 3 (secretly wishing for twins, though!)

How long have you been TTC: since June. Had a m/c early September - this is our first eggie since the m/c - totally shocked!

Tell us a bit about your family (partner, other children, and/or pets): I have two sons - almost 7 and 9. This will be my husband's first biological child. We have a zoo - two big dogs, a cat, a gecko, 4 chickens and 2 ducks. Loads of family nearby, too - our house is fun!

Anything else you'd like to share: PRAYING so hard for a sticky baby this time around. My m/c was so difficult on me emotionally, but I feel better prepared for whatever life throws my way now. Feeling so amazingly blessed to have been able to get pregnant again so quickly. My midwife encouraged us to go for it immediately, if we felt ready - I'm just shocked. And to get a BFP at 9dpo? My last one was at 8dpo, too! I FEEL pregnant very quickly....blech. (but it's good, too!)

How long have you been TTC: Technically, we weren't officially trying, but we weren't preventing either. We figured when we were supposed to have another child, it would happen. And it did!! I had been irritable (SO irritable) since about a week after my last period ended. I became a bit clumsy, and then 2 days past when I should have started my period, I got a little bit crampy and thought "Okay, it's coming." Every time I went to the bathroom, however, there was no sign of AF, not one! So I went ahead and bought a cheapo test from the Dollar Store, and wouldn't you know it... it was a BFP!!! My husband and I were honestly shocked, because I swore it was going to be negative, and that I was just stressed out because we were packing up and moving to a new house the past couple of weeks. Whaddaya know!!

Tell us a bit about your family (partner, other children, and/or pets): My husband and I have been together since May 2005, married October 31, 2009. We have an almost-3yo daughter who is still nursing (and honestly I'm kind of hoping she'll stop before I get into the 3rd trimester), an 8-yo Rhodesian Ridgeback named Cholla (pronounced Choy-ah), and a crazy playful lovie tabby named Yarrow. Our DD wants a rabbit and a fish for her birthday... so we may have two MORE additions to the family, lol!
 

Anything else you'd like to share: I'm just so excited to be having our second child now! I was really starting to think it wasn't going to happen, and to think of what the future holds for us is just too cool! Looking forward to getting to know some of you beautiful mamas (and mamas-to-be) and discussing symptoms and remedies and what-not, hah! Love and Light!

How long have you been TTC: Around one year.  TTC was complicated by a uterine septum and stage 3 endometriosis, the septum and endometriosis were removed in July and I am VERY happy to be pregnant. 
Tell us a bit about your family (partner, other children, and/or pets): My wife sweet wife carried our first child, who is now two and is still nursing with great enthusiasm.  My wife is a SAHM, which is wonderful because my schedule as a midwife is pretty crazy. 
Anything else you'd like to share: Congratulations to everyone!  After having attended hundreds of births as a CNM, I am very excited to finally be pregnant myself.

Anything else you'd like to share: I really can't believe I'm pregnant and am a bit anxious, but hopeful, that this little bebe is a sticky one! Congratulations everyone, I'm so happy to be here with you.

EDD: Mid June - Around the Summer Solstice

Your General Location: Vancouver Island, BC Canada
This babe will be child #?: First for both of us!
How long have you been TTC: we TTC for a month or two, but got fed up with the stress and focused on having an awesome summer and were 'whatevering'. We were having sex without any contraception or prevention techniques for 5 months.
Tell us a bit about your family (partner, other children, and/or pets): My husband and I just got married in August, after living abroad in China for two years. We just moved into a nice big house with room mates (a couple) who also wish to become pregnant. It's going to be an interesting situation! We were going to go back to trying to prevent after I got my period this month ha ha due to not being able to find a stable job but we're thrilled and happy and wouldn't have it any other way. We thought one or both of us may have fertility issues due to our medical histories so we're both feeling very blessed and excited. We share a house with another couple (good friends of ours!) plus two cats, a dog, some tortoises and a snake.
Anything else you'd like to share: I'm still feeling dazed by the news but it feels very real since I've been so sick! I started getting strong symptoms less then 7 dpo but I assumed it was moving stress... (well I couldn't explain the sore breasts from stress lol). Finally the day after we moved into the house (and 4 days before my expected period) I took a test and what do you know!

How long have you been TTC: A couple months. I REALLY wanted to conceive last month or this because I'm in grad school so I could have the baby in the summer! The issue was that I was still nursing #2 so my fertility didn't seem to be cooperating for awhile. I'm so excited now and hope this will all work out.

Tell us a bit about your family (partner, other children, and/or pets): One husband, 4.5-yr-old DS and 20-mo DS, 2 cats. All of us crammed into a little 2 bdr condo in the city but we love it.

Anything else you'd like to share: I'm SO EXCITED!!!!! And I'm also terrified because I just started a grad program where most of the students are younger than me, mostly male and everyone can put in 80 hour weeks. But my husband is very supportive and his family is close and well, I'm just hoping for the best and feel so blessed to be having another baby. What a miracle it is.

Hi everyone! I've been lurking for a bit, but I finally joined the site so I can participate in this group! I appreciate the more open-minded, wholistic approach compared with what I tend to find on a lot of other online forums.

How long have you been TTC: Pretty much exactly a year. I had a missed m/c this past June.
Tell us a bit about your family (partner, other children, and/or pets): Just me and my husband in a one bedroom apartment (luckily, a fairly large one for the area, though)
Anything else you'd like to share: I have been diagnosed with a uterine anomaly (unicornuate uterus--basically, I have half of a uterus) that makes my pregnancies high risk (higher chances of incompetent cervix, preterm delivery, IUGR). There's no way of really knowing whether I will have any of these complications. Many women with this condition have completely normal pregnancies and deliveries, but many do not. So, even if I make it out of the 1st trimester, I am hardly out of the woods. I try to eat a largely traditional foods diet (bordering on paleo/primal).

We have three kids, Lily is 6, Jacob is 4 and Olivia is 14 months. We also have a 1 year old lab named Brie. I'm excited to be here on this board, I too feel more at home among you earth mamas :) I discovered my crunchy side while pregnant with Olivia and unfortunately was forced to have a c-sec due to breech presentation. I'm really hoping to be able to do a vbac this time around! I'm looking forward to getting to know all of you ladies better! :)

Tell us a bit about your family (partner, other children, and/or pets): DH and I have been married for 8 years and were hs sweethearts. We are both in education and we have two boys 10 and 6. The boys will be 11 and 7 when this baby is born and I feel like I am starting all over which is wonderful!!

Anything else you'd like to share: Although part of me wants a little girl, I am just so thrilled to be having another little one, I really don't care the gender at all this time. This will be my third c-section which has already created much anxiety!

How long have you been TTC: About a year with a few months off in the middle... We were about to stop trying until after the new year!

Tell us a bit about your family (partner, other children, and/or pets): DH is 44 and grew up in Budapest, Hungary, DD is 4 and we have a rescue kitty, Pico. 

Anything else you'd like to share: I am completely neutral about gender. With DD I desperately wanted a girl so that I could relax for #2. I thinkw e will let this be a surprise this time around. My DD has been planning for her little brother AND little sister for some time. I actually just got my BFP yesterday and she received a book club book in the mail the very same day called "Making Room for Baby". We were in Target and she asked if she could buy her brother and sister some clothes. I hadn't said anything to her about babies for a while... We'll see if she gets her twins wish... The thought is terrifying, but three kids would be great eventually. We've always planned to stop after 2.

Tell us a bit about your family (partner, other children, and/or pets):  I have been married to my husband for 2 years, we just celebrated our anniversary.  We currently live in Oklahoma, but will be moving to New Jersey in the fall of 2013 (DH is military).  I am a SAHM to our DS (Xavier), who is 8 months old.  We have a 6 year old Pug, Mr. Auggie VonPugglesworth.  

Anything else you'd like to share: I'm thrilled and also completely scared that we will have two children under 2.  We are planning for another home birth, which I am ecstatic about because we will be using the same midwives.  Morning sickness sucks, especially trying to take care of a LO and am hoping my ginger candy comes in the mail asap.
