where do you keep your dirty cloth diapers?

Need some suggestions since we took down the crib we were using for storage.  I had previously been keeping the dirty diapers in a large wet bag in there out of the reach of my 3 year old and 8 month old.  Now I'm not sure where or how to store the stinkers before the wash.

Thanks for your ideas!

Ours go in a tall trash can with a wet bag liner. When I can find it the can even has a loose-fitting lid that's handy. Sometimes, when we can find neither the trash can nor the wet bag (happens way more than you would think!) they go on the floor of the cellar next to the washer. eyesroll.gif

When my kids were in dipes, I always used the washing machine as a dipe hamper. I washed every night and got them in the dryer before bed and if I had another load to do I'd usually put them in the wash when I put dipes in to dry. If I really wanted to do other laundry during the day, I'd usually just put them through w the dipes, but keep it a smallish load. If there was a poopy dipe in there, I'd put them through a rinse/spin cycle before adding the clothes.

For some reason having them in there already seemed to make diaper laundry so much easier.
