Need help conceiving #2

I have a almost 3 yr old. We had a planned csection wih him due to seeing his size on a 4d ultrasound. I was on birth control a yr after that. Past 2 yrs we've been tryin for #2 with no luck. What are some ways to boost fertility? I heard greentea and lots of water. Also I heard that birth control can stunt your fertility for 2 yrs. Is that true? I dnt have he best insurance to get a real doctors help. So any help is appreciated. I've never kept track of temp. But I have used ovu tests. My period seems regular.
