From GBS+ (+4) to GBS negative in ONE WEEK!

Ladies, just had to share. I got the most amazing news from my midwives' office just now. I had reswabbed for GBS after undergoing an intensive strep-killing protocol, and it worked! In just one week, I went from heavy colonization (+4) to negative. I am ecstatic! Sharing the protocol here in case it helps anyone else out:

Once Daily:

2 capsules Femdophilus in AM (probiotics)

1 30mg capsule Zinc (for membrane strength, immune support)

1 1000mg capsule Vitamin C (for membrane strength, immune support)

1 tea tree suppository inserted vaginally (during day)

1 garlic clove inserted vaginally (at night/overnight)

15 drops GSE (away from probiotics)

3x Daily, away from probiotics:

1 dropper-full of Usnea tincture in water (30-40 drops)

1 dropper-full of Oregon Grape Root tincture in water (30-40 drops)

Eat and drink plenty of probiotic foods away from herbal tinctures and GSE; my foods and drinks of choice have been sauerkraut, probiotic pickles, kimchee and kombucha

Hope this helps someone else!

Thanks :) I am particularly happy because I really feel like being on abx during labor last time (unfortunately a long labor with several abx doses) gave my daughter the gut and allergy issues she has. I can't prove it of course, but it's my mommy hunch. I am so thrilled that this obstacle will be out of the way now for baby #2.

That is fantastic news!!!!!! I agree about the possibility of gut/allergy issues from abx. It's too bad this cant be posted somewhere so the rest of the world can learn about it. Darn mainstream medecine.....

I so agree. I am glad abx are an option but I hate how they are the first choice in mainstream medicine. That just isn't right.
