Anyone else having the exhaustion last into the 10th week? « Back to Group Discussions

I think I am one of the furthest along in our DDC but is anyone else still exhausted? I will be 10 weeks on Saturday. I had a break from it for a week or so but it is back and I am going to bed right after DD and taking a nap or at least laying down when she naps.

I usually start coming out of the fog at 11-12 weeks, but peak for both nausea and fatigue at 8-9 weeks, so I'm reminding myself that I'm almost past the worst (I'll be 9 weeks on Friday)

I'm 8 weeks right now and the nausea has lessened, but the exhaustion kicked in 2-3 days ago. This babe is completely different than my pregnancy with DD and is already favoring the same foods that DH does.

Well, you are further then I am at a mere 7w 1d.  But I am totally utterly exhausted.  I am sleeping a good 9-10 hours at night (right along with DD) AND taking a 2 hour nap in the late morning or early afternoon.  I am sleeping MORE then my 6 year old.  And I've been like this for at least 2 weeks and it looks to continue, perhaps getting worse (oh no!).  My heart goes out to all those women working through the first tri.  I do not recall being this tired with DD or DS.  I am really getting old!

I am 10 weeks today and EXHAUSTED! Should be letting up soon, except I'm chasing DD everywhere all the time and working full time. Ugh.

I'm 7w4d and can barely function sometimes because I'm so tired.  You mean to tell me this will likely get worse?  

I've been napping pretty much every night when I get home from work and after eating some nice cheesy protein yesterday did manage to get a 2 mile walk in which helped somewhat.

Fortunately, my boss will be out of the office starting a week from today for nearly two weeks and then will be gone again that following week for nearly two weeks so I won't feel too bad about working from home if I need to.  Sometimes getting ready in the morning really takes it out of me.  

Funny story:  I have a sonicare toothbrush which is timed for 2 minutes of brushing.  I have taken to going to brush my teeth while sitting on my bed.  I'll be damned if when that little toothbrush shuts off isn't the most depressing moment of my morning.  It's also one of the last things I do before I leave so I know that means I have to get going.

I'm only 9 weeks, but still feeling SOOO tired. I have an app on my phone called Sleep Cycle that tracks how long I sleep. I've been averaging 10 hours a night, though I know I could also nap during the day if I let myself. Sooo tired! Even too tired to go on walks with DH!

That is too funny! I've been sitting on the edge of the bathtub to brush my teeth. Standing that early in the morning takes a lot of effort!

That's funny, I've been feeling almost too weak to stand in the morning and I was getting kinda worried about it. Glad I am not the only one.

I'm 9 weeks.. nausea has changed to a bubbling boil of bleh and so so so entirely exhausted still.. spend all my time lying on the sofa or in bed!!

Finally 10 weeks! Not a lot of nausea anymore, but yes still feeling SO tired. Have only noticed slight improvements (the last 2 mornings I was able to put on makeup and style my hair, when previously I couldn't even stand to brush my teeth), but still sleeping 9ish hours a night (pre-pregnancy it was 7-8) and feel much better after laying down for a bit mid-afternoon.

Yes, I'm at 10 weeks and I feel like I was tired before, but at 9 weeks the complete and utter exhaustion kicked in. I just want to SIT DOWN. All the time. I usually walk a lot with DH and DS and I just want to stay home, stay home, stay home and rest. I'm not sleepy per se, just physically Wiped Out. Plus the nausea also seems to have gotten worse, and holy boobage! They hurt so bad. This did not happen with DS (the boob-soreness - the exhaustion did, but it was earlier). ugggggggggh. But yes, despite the complaining I really Want this!!! And it's kind of reassuring since I had two miscarriages after DS. The food that most appeals to me right now is rice pudding, which I make a lot for DS for breakfast. Totally NOT allowed for me with the diabetes, but I swear I could take a bath in it! Hope we all feel more energetic soon.
