I'm throwing my hands up in defeat eyesroll.gif  This last half of October has truly sucked as far as no spending, so I'm just refocusing my efforts for November.

I wanted to end the month with a no-spend, but the Butterfingers won me over.  See you ladies over in the November thread!!!

10/27 and 10/28 no spend

10/29 unbudgeted $20 for gas - wanted to be prepared for Hurricane Sandy

10/30 no spend

10/31 no spend

A pretty good month for me - except for that big use of my homedepot card in the middle.

Hope November has more no-spend days for us all!

I ended the month with an extra $25 from all of my budgeted categories (I use the cash envelope system, which I highly recommend for anyone having a hard time controlling their spending--feels much more like spending money when you're handing over cash instead of plastic!)  I'm going to put that into my sinking fund.  Starting fresh today and hoping to have as much control as I did in October!
