What are you doing differently this pregnancy? - Page 2

Oh, and I plan to get at least one prenatal massage this time. I wanted to so badly last time, but just couldn't justify the expense and I wish I had just gone for it.

My #1 goal is to not complain. Gosh darnit I will make it through one entire pregnancy without letting one complaint leave my lips!! bouncy.gif

That's so funny! I feel like that's all I've been doing! Now every time I complain I'll think about this! Ha!

I love this. Even while I'm miserable, sweating and shaking, trying not to puke, I'm SO grateful for the symptoms that tell me that my baby is growing away inside!

Like many of us, I am planning to exercise routinely which I never quite did with my first two pregnancies. I took up running since my last pregnancy so I plan to continue at a slightly slower speed. I have a gym membership that has a terrific kids' room so I have fewer excuses not to exercise.

I also want to be more conscious of what/how I eat. I gained roughly 40 lbs with both of my pregnancies and I would like to see if I can keep my gain lower this time around.

I want to savor this pregnancy as it is most likely my last. I did savor and enjoy my first but with my second I was always so tired and had a very active toddler to care for. Of course now I have that same active child as a preschooler plus a toddler. Luckily I live in an area where there are more opportunities: more crunchy mamas, more parks, a mall with an indoor play area, etc. I also wonder if exercise, eating better and potentially gaining less weight will help this pregnancy to be more comfortable than my second.

I was pretty happy with the way things went the first time, so I am following the same plan this time around.
