I'm at 7 weeks 4 days and have been struggling with sickness for a while now. For some reason I didn't expect it at all, let alone for it to be this bad. Other than that, I'm exhausted! Want to sleep all the time. Can't concentrate. I have a few cramps here and there but not bad. My boobs hurt very badly, especially when I get up in the mornings.

Definitely have food aversions and cravings, and perhaps some mood swings. There was a time last weekend where I was starving but everything in the fridge made my stomach churn. I stood there on the brink of tears-- literally almost crying-- because I was so frustrated by not knowing what to eat. Finally, I realize I wanted Bloody Mary Mix and sent my husband to the store. I had never tasted anything so good.

Lastly, by the end of the day my abdomen feels tired and swollen.

I never got ms with my other 3, my husband was the one who was nauseous all day long. Been pretty much the same this time only  I'm bloating way sooner than the other times & the heartburn! Oye, I had it bad with my first but nothing close to this. I get heartburn & it's so bad I start getting nauseous & I cannot get it to go away. One sort of bonus is I feel full all the time, I have to make myself eat becuase I know I need to but  half the time I'm not hungry at all, but when I AM hungry you better get outta my way! lol

I've got the super crazy heightened sniffer, blech! Everything smells, it's so gross. Oh, and I'm having all kinds of food aversions. Nausea still under control as long as I eat but that's getting harder to do when the pool of foods I want is quickly drying up.

They had pizza in the office today.  I was sooooo hungry, but the garlic...holy cow.  

Anyone else waking up before the crack of dawn?  I'm generally a morning person, but being wide awake at 4:30 in the morning is for the biz-irds.  (I got up and went to work three hours early.  And then this afternoon I was terrified that I was going to fall asleep at the wheel during my hour long commute home.  Yeesh.)

Definately heightened sense of smell and I cannot stand artificial smells.  Gagging although not as bed as I think it will get.  I got to the point where I couldn't get a vitamin down with the other pregnancies.  Knock on wood...the nausea has quited down unless I get hungry. Headache if my blood sugar is low.  Fatigue.  Dizziness has passed and have a little more energy now that my iron is up. Trouble falling to sleep and insomnia for hours in the middle of the night.  I hate when it starts at 3 am and I have to get up at 5--no more sleep.  But when I do sleep, I have the only symptom I like...sex dreams!

I have been having a lot of sex dreams too! But really Weird sex dreams, not like the ones I had before. I'm a little worried that my psyche is such a perv ,heh.

I loves the sexy/dating/romancy dreams! Great pregnancy perk .

Forgot to add, I'm back to having aversions. I'm nauseous right now and think I need to back off on a few things that don't seem to be agreeing with me so much .

I actually had a dream that my husband had a headache.  :p  (Poor guy has been falling asleep in his chair, he's been working so hard lately.)

My boobs are sooo sore. But I guess I can't really complain because otherwise I'm feeling good. All I want to eat is bacon.

Ok, what is this new and exciting thing where every time after I eat I get obscenely tired?! I could take a nice long snooze riiiiiiiight now *yawn*.

Fortunately my MS seems to have passed... or at least become more controlable /predictable.

Now my least favorite symptom/side affect is --- drum roll please ---  a raging yeast infection. This is a new level of hell.

ooh sorry about the yeast infection. I got one with my first pregnancy right away (yuck). Not knowing much I went into the doctor and paid 150.00 (after insurance) for him to tell me to get the 7-10 day over the counter treatment. It was a blessing in disguise. That situation motivated me to seek out alternative care which I was leaning toward and I was able to have a wonderful home birth.

Well, good news - great news, actually...I'm not sick! I realize I could still have rough days (10 weeks tomorrow), but it's been consistently better in the m/s department. My boobs aren't really sore anymore...maybe I'm just used to it? Nah - they don't bother me at all. My sleep isn't perfect, but better.

Now? I have cramps. Really intense cramps. Not as bad as labor, but worse than my period cramps. I KNOW in my head it's normal, but I still find myself saying, "Is THIS much cramping normal?" I saw my midwife today - baby sounds great - 160 bpm heartrate (she predicted girl - lol). She actually told me she'd be worried I DIDN'T have cramps...but they're bad enough I want a heating pack and a nap. :(

Still - NOT complaining. So long as the morning sickness is at bay, I am THRILLED! :D
