Eulalie wakes between 8-9 am, is up for an hour and then goes back down and naps for 2-3 hours, she wakes up between 12-1:30 we play for about 1-2.5 hours and then she needs another nap, she naps for 2 or so hours and then is up usually until 6 when she naps for about an hour. (though she typically takes 3 naps a day sometimes she takes 4!) She finally goes to sleep for the night around 8 or 9. At night, she wakes up around 12am to nurse and then sleeps until 5 or 6am nurses and sleeps until she wakes for the day.
Lily: Eulalie is older than Piper (born 7/27) and still gets swaddled for all sleep (although she breaks free of her swaddle sometime during the night). We don't keep a tip toe quiet house, but we also don't make tons of noise (we'll wash dishes, talk, etc). I know some people warn against nursing to sleep, but we do that too. And... I'm fine with all of it. I say do what works best. Follow your intuition. You know Piper better than any doctor, friend, or expert. If she needs to be swaddled right now do it! I've heard lots of advise from many different sources and typically I listen in earnest, then keep what I like and discard what I don't. In an age where we can often be bombarded by information I truly believe that at he end of the day, mama know best. :)
