We may be moving to Davenport, IA from Illinois. I noticed there is a Montessori school in Moline, IL that we might be able to send our kids to (would they accept a Davenport/IA resident?). What I want to know is this:
Are there farmer's markets, especially organic ones?
Is there access to local pastured meat?
How scenic is it, are there lots of wooded areas for hiking and camping, and maybe rivers/lakes for canoing?
I'm talkinga bout the general area, not necessarily right in the downtown city part.
