I will put in the poll to allow multiple answers incase of more than one baby mama/daddy.

Wow, most of us were in long 10 year + relationships. For me every year it got harder to consider leaving. But some things happened that I could not stay and still respect myself as a person.

4 years, long enough to have 2 kids.  I've been a single mom now for 9 years - over twice as long as I was ever married in the first place.

18 years.  Newly separated now.

16 years.  2 years separated (we were not married, so just voided the powers of attorney, etc.).  And he regularly reminds me, by being such an a$$, why leaving him was the best decision I ever made for me and the kids.

Wow. I stayed far, far too long also. I know the longer I stayed, the worse it got, but it also got that much harder to get out of it. I can't even imagine how it might have been after 22 years. Good for you for knowing you still had a chance. hug.gif
