Pic Line Broke

What happens  when a Pic Line Breaks.

Yesterday My Family member had his pic line removed, It looked easy But then the end did not come out. He went to the Hospital and they could not find it. Is this some thing I should worry about?

I'm sorry your question was missed. I'm bumping it up for input from other NICU & Preemie parents who might be able to help with advice or an explanation.
