For all of you feeling movement, where in your belly are you feeling it at this stage?  I'm 16w3d and for a few weeks now I've been feeling occasional movement that I'm so sure is baby, except that it's as high as my belly button, sometimes a tiny bit higher, and to the right.  There's definitely a large solid mass in that location, dh can even tell it's so firm in that area compared to the squishiness everywhere else.  But that just seems so high for this early.  I've never been good at figuring my  uterus location, so don't ask!  The last time I saw the midwife was 12 weeks, and it was somewhat high and to the right when she found the heartbeat, so that's making me feel more sure, but still, it feels freakishly high. Unless he/she is doing a handstand with long legs...

It depends, for me (usually on MY position, like if I'm curled up or stretched out, standing, etc).  Sometimes it can be low near my pubic bone, sometimes it can be about 3/4 of the way to my belly button (which is where my fundus is right now).  I'm 14 weeks though.  I don't think it sounds that crazy that you'd be feeling it that high.  Can you tell baby's position when you lie down?  I can always see the buldge in my uterus where baby is if s/he is up somewhere in the top.

I'm 17 1/2 weeks and I feel baby either dead center just above my pubic bone most of the time, but if I'm laying down, I've felt it almost level with my belly button but a couple of inches to my right. If you're carrying high (and especially since this is baby #3 for you) that probably is baby. Hope that helps!!

If you're having a hard time figuring out where the top of your uterus is, try feeling your belly after you have an orgasm. That's the only time I can tell FOR SURE where it's at thumb.gif

I can't wait for DF to be able to feel the baby. And DD and DS are dying to feel, too. heartbeat.gif

Our baby's been doing that too. DF  loves it. :)

This was at 15 weeks exactly. Other than that one huge flip, I get little rubs and some flutters, but mostly I just stress out about how much I'm not feeling. redface.gif
Love, p

I've been stressing out a little with how little I've been feeling movement compared to my last pregnancies, but then I remember I'm a lot more active, so it's probably not going to be not as noticeable this time, at least that's what I tell myself.redface.gif

It's great, isn't it? Amazing, and wonderful!

I forgot to add, I've been feeling the baby for about a week, maybe a week and a half. I usually feel it right above my pubic bone, to the left, except earlier, after I picked DF up from work, we were talking, and I felt it on my right side. I think baby was trying to be closer to daddy. :)

I'm 17 weeks 3days today and I usually feel the baby pretty low to mid way between my pubic bone and belly button. And I got a good solid kick last night when my DH out his hands on my tummy. His hands are always SO warm and as soon as he out them on my tummy baby kicked super hard. He didn't feel it but it made me cry. So precious and amazing feeling this life inside me! I absolutely can't wait for DH to be able to feel from the outside. <3

Ah!  I totally just got a swift kick while prodding around with my doppler.  I've had a rough couple of days- emotionally- and was hoping to get some reassurance with that little heartbeat, but I got twice as much!  So then I kinda palpated a bit to feel where baby is at (I can generally feel where when s/he is up higher in my uterus) and got a little poke again!  Such a blessing, and a much needed one today. My hubby felt baby on the outside last night.  :)  I have to pay attention but feel that little one often.

How cool at_the_hip! I wonder if my husband would be able to feel. The kicks have been so sporadic there is no telling when I'll get one. I used my doppler yesterday so my mom and aunt in town from OR could hear the heartbeat. In the past the little one would always cruise away after I found it but this time it stayed there for ages and let us get a good listen. Found it nearly immediately due to having felt some thuds not long prior.

I bet they loved hearing that!!

I took a chance last night since baby was bumping around quite a bit...I wasn't sure if hubby was awake enough.  ;)  But he definitely felt it and even remembered in the morning!  LOL!!  I think it makes it more real for him (the morning sickness makes it plenty 'real' for me teehee) while he's waiting to see the big ultrasound!  I don't have any extra padding this time around, especially after losing weight from m/s, so I can see baby kick from the outside quite often.  I'll be 16w tomorrow!  I can't believe that.

I'm so excited ... I'm  14 wks and definitely felt the baby moving last night ... 3 diff times, all v distinct and unmistakably baby.  I'm jealous of you mamas who can already see movement from the outside.

Ill be 20 weeks on Monday and WOW! Baby girls movement have really picked up the last few days smile.gif lots more "heavy" flip flopping and some pretty strong kicks too! Yesterday I was laying back on my pillows on my back and she kicked just under my belly button and it surprised me and tickled, it made me LOL my hubby came into out bedroom and I was laughing so hard I had tears. I think he thought I was crazy! Lol man I love this little lady smile.gif

Yay Ironmam! I am finally starting to feel this little one regularly again. 18w does seem to be the magic ticket for me and an anterior placenta. Just a few days ago I actually pulled out the doppler for reassurance because I hadn't been feeling anything.

DH felt the baby kick! We think, LOL.

I'm so glad for all y'all who are starting to feel movement! And excitement for those who's partners can feel, too! I have been feeling baby a *lot* today, compared to the last couple of weeks, but 99% of the time, it's on my lower left side. (That makes me think about what my mom told me about when she was pregnant with my brother. His "go to" place was her lower left side, and so when she went into labor, he went straight for the lower left side, and I guess got stuck there/wouldn't move.)

DF hasn't been able to feel the baby move, but he can't wait until he can. DD and DS are waiting very impatiently, as well. orngtongue.gif

Yay for feeling movement! I'm feeling lots of movement! I can also feel baby often laying low in my uterus.  I think it's his/her back that I'm feeling. It's amazing to have such a different perspective this time around. I don't remember feeling my daughter this clearly until later pregnancy. DH and I have had fun trying to gently distinguish body parts, although it's pretty hard now, since baby is still so small. I'm pretty sure he/she is laying sideways, which is becoming a bit uncomfortable. I started inverting briefly every day and I bought an exercise ball yesterday to sit on, so I'm hoping baby will go ahead and straighten out soon! We have an ultrasound on Saturday at 20w1d and hopefully we'll find out what we're having! I'll be shocked if it's a girl because I feel strongly that it's a boy, but we'll see!

I'm feeling a little movement almost every day now at 16 and a half weeks :) It's almost always to the lower left.

Last night was the first movement that I KNOW was baby. I was about to go to bed and folding some laundry when I got a big swift kick to the left. It actually startled me. I didn't expect it to be that strong. I'm 16 weeks 5 days. Now I'm just bummed that I haven't felt anything today!

Definitely feeling the little one pretty regularly now. They are more pronounced and obvious movements too which is nice. 18w5d
