It's hit me hard. Anyone else? What do you do or take for it? My DH is out right now picking me up some Rescue Remedy and a homeopathic remedy. Hope one of these helps.....

I've been taking extra cod liver oil and I think it's helped a lot. I really notice if I miss a dose. Getting out in the sun is a big help too. Hugs to you! Postpartum hormones suck!

hug2.gif I'm sorry.  PPD sucks.  Fish oil is a good supplement to help.  I want to encourage you to seek help sooner rather than later.  Discuss it with your midwife.  I had a really rough time after DD2 and really wish I'd sought help and gotten it under control earlier.  Many antidepressants are safe while BFing if supplements aren't helping.

Cod liver oil! I just gulp it straight out of the bottle. And making sure that my relationship with DH is where it needs to be and that I have help when I need it so that I can get the sleep I need.

I used Elm Flower Essences after the birth of my first son. I definitely feel like it helped for awhile but after a point, I realized I was spending more energy trying to control my emotions than I spent enjoying being a mother. It took me a really long time to admit that I needed help -- I just urge you to not wait so long if the feelings linger or don't get better.
