We are really done

DS is 8 weeks tomorrow and we are really done.  DH had his vasectomy Friday.  I'm so glad, but really sad too.  Anyone else there?  Plus I feel horrible he got it done.  I wish I would have had my tubes tied or Essure.

If you regret it in a few years, he can always have a reversal or something. My father-in-law did that and had another kid. We're also done over here. I had an IUD put in, but now I'm starting to feel all wacky with it in - nausea, headache, cramps. If I keep having these nasty symptoms, I'll probably have it removed and we'll be back at square one in regards to birth control.

It's weird, I was totally cool with only one kid after my son was born, but now I sometimes feel like I'd want another since I had my daughter and she's only 8 weeks old! What's up with that?

My midwife was just telling me about a form of BC for men, it's currently only available in the states, and it's non invasive and fully reversible. It's a small piece of polymer injected in that basically screens out the sperm. I haven't had a chance to find more info yet, but I'm intrigued. Because we don't know if we are done or not.

Oh, it's not that I regret it, it's just that he looked like he was in so much pain.  The pain pills weren't prescribed until after so we had to stop on the way home and grab them.  He looked worse then than I did when we drove to the hospital when I was in labor.  If I would have gotten my tubes tie dthey at least would have knocked me out.  I cannot imagine being awake for that.

Tizzy, I have read about that. I think it was developed in India. There was a pretyt large article in a magazine, (hows that for specific!) a long while back about them developing it. I can't  remember the name of the mag though. Maybe Time, Popular Science, idk..Im stabbing in the dark here. Thus far, they hadn't had any problems in the studies they were doing. I don't think it is available here yet, though.

Okay, here's some info on two versions. from what I can find, neither is available here right now. Maybe I'll just ship DH overseas to get it done LOL
