New here and TTC number 2 after a decade!

Hello! Hoping this is an active board! I am new here and TTC #2. I am a 30 year old mother, our son is 10. While TTC our son it took 7 months, so I am worried it will take 7+ months this time too.

We started TTC in September and I thought for sure I was pregnant this month as my cycles for the past 8 months have been 26 and 27 days. Well, I was on day 30 yesterday and finally got a test and got a negative. Then last night Aunt Flow came into town! I am unsure of why my cycle was 30 days, I am so confused. It has happened in the past were I have been out of the blue, but why oh why right when we TTC! I use to temp and have an 11 day luteal phase.

I am hoping I can get any input on any ways to help increase the chances of getting pregnant this month! We tried to make sure we had sex every other day last month. I have read about Mucinex and Robitussin help aid conceiving? Anyone have any input on that?

Our second took almost a year to conceive and while were still a ways off about thinking about a third I'm hopeful that the next will take less. I will cross my fingers that everything works out well for you!
