Will I feel polyester stuffing on a leather couch? Polyester free seating solutions help.

I have chemical sensitivities to polyester. I am on the quest for a used couch that i can get rid of the cushions and replace with something breathable. I came across a couple leather couches, been reading about how they create less dust, providing a thicker barrier. So i am.off to find out if they use polyester stuffing/foam, as almost every couch does. But i wonder if the leather will be enough of a barrier that i wont feel the polyester? My guess is probably not. Just because, i can always feel it. It makes me hot and i can feel my skin feeling suffocated, if i stay on long enough i get a stuffy headache, strange sensations. Putting a thick blanket on top doesnt work. Will it be so different with leather. Or will the heat just rise on up? I guess i could try sitting on one to test..I guess i am just wondering if anyone else has found a solution for this type of thing. Anyone cant stand polyester or have polyester sensitive children? What do you sit on?

I would guess that it will give you problems if you know that covering things with thick blankets doesn't help. I am sensitive to polyethylene but covering it works for me so I don't directly have experience to help you. 

Two ideas: 

Build your own couch using materials you tolerate. Check anawhite.com --she has some sofa plans that use wood and foam camping pads which are often polyethylene, not polyester. You can make your own pillows with cotton batting

Buy an all-cotton fouton either sized for a couch or sized for a chair. I get mine from White Lotus. If you sign up for their newsletter they often have 30%off sales so the pricing is not too bad.  That is also where I get my kids' beds.
