visiting family with shingles

I will be visiting my family for a couple weeks and one has shingles (maybe). My DD is 9 months and I'm wondering what the chances of her getting the chicken pox are. I'm not scared of it but I don't know how easy it is for a 9mo to deal with. I was 5 or so when I had it.

Also people seem freaked out by it now. What will happen if I need to fly home with her sick.

Unless your DD touches the lesions - she will not get CP.
