What was your baby's weight at about 8 weeks or 2 months old?

Estimate to the closest number if voting in the poll.

13 lbs 4 oz

Interested to see this! Our appointment isn't till a week from today, so I'll vote once we have that. But I'm pretty confident he's over 12 lbs at this point.

In order to have more meaning for this poll, I think you should comment with the baby's birth weight. Otherwise, it's just a number with no comparison, right?

Little Dude was 8lbs, 4oz and birth and is right around 15lbs now.  I find out for sure Monday, but on our scale that's where it is.

Baby M was 7 lbs 15 oz at birth and is somewhere around 13 pounds on our scale (our combined weight minus my weight). She's a pretty sturdy babe!

Armie was 8lbs at birth and only 11 at 2 months. But he is growing tall! 24 inches. So 85% for height, 25% for weight.

Close enough to normal, and he is super healthy. His dad is tall and slender as well, so it's probably just his body type.

Oscar was 13 lbs 7 oz at 9 weeks so I rounded down.  He was 13 lb 8 oz at birth so not even up to birth weight yet.

Miriam was 7lbs 8ozs at birth, 10lbs 14.4 ozs at  weeks. She's in the 47% percentile

Piper was 7 lb 6.5 oz at birth and was 10 lb 11 oz at our two month check up.  She's exactly in the 50th percentile according to our doc.

I am not sure (he hasn't been weighed for a few weeks), but I guess he's between 10 & 11. He was born 8 1/2 lbs but lost weight after the surgery and got back up to his birthweight at around a month old.

First week visit 6 lbs. 7 oz

First month visit 7 lbs. 4 oz

2nd month visit 9 lbs 9 oz

And now he is almost 13 lbs according to our home scale, big spurt the past weeks.

He is still 2 months

We're at exactly 14lb at 6.5 weeks, 12lb 1oz was birthweight. I don't think I've had ANY kids grow as fast as some of yours! Doubling birthweight by 2 months - wow.

Still waiting for the "official" weigh-in on Thursday at the pedi's, but weighed him at the LC's today, and... HOLY CRAP, over 13 lbs! Looks like he's soldiering on with his pound-every-two-weeks gain.

6.5lbs at birth and 11.5lbs at 2 months

Okay, so official weight at 2 months is 13 lbs 7 oz - this includes the pee in the scale. Sheepish.gif At least he didn't pee on me or the nurse! This is after a birth weight of 8 lbs 10 oz, and an all-time low weight of somewhere around 8 lb 3 oz. He's also 25.5" long - 99th percentile for height! That's about 3.5" of growth  since birth. It was nice to know I wasn't just imagining that he was growing like a weed!

We just had our appointment and she is 12 lbs, 8 oz (was 7lbs 15 oz at birth). She's also in the 85th percentile for head size (15 1/2)!!

My LO was probably between 11-12 pounds at 8 weeks, but I'm just guessing.  He was a little under 7 1/2 pounds at birth and gained very very quickly.  He's now 11 weeks, 5 days and weighs 13 pounds, 9 ounces.  My biggest baby yet, I'm pretty sure.  My calmest baby too - he's never expending energy crying, that's for sure!

2 months old today! At birth he was a tiny 6 lbs, 7 oz (and that was 10 days 'late'!) and today at the dr weighed 11 lbs 15 oz, so practically 12 lbs! Our scale at home has him a little bigger, but the dr weight will be official. Liz, our baby is super chill and sweet, but I attribute it to all the things I've eliminated from my diet. He was much fussier before I did this and if we have another I am going to do the same thing right off the bat.

Andaluza, what have you eliminated?
