Recipes for energy bars Please

Please, Can any Mamas here share a great recipe for energy bars ? I'd like one using soaked nuts. I tried using a recipe but when I used soaked nuts and seeds it did not work.

Thanks!

So easy to make up your own recipe! I don't know amounts but mt basic recipe is just nuts & dates. From there I create a variety....almonds, walnuts, chia seeds, sunflower seeds, pepitas, dried cranberries, dried mango, coconut flakes, cocoa/carob powder, etc, etc. Start by putting a handful of nuts & seeds in a food processor & mix until mealy, not flour. Add dates and other dried fruits until the batch comes together as a big sticky ball. You can also add nut butters or sweeteners like maple syrup or agave if desired but I never find sweeteners are necessary because they're already so sweet! I like to form mine into small bite sized balls but you can form into bars or even spread it in a pan. Refrigerate until cold & enjoy!

I meant to add that I soak & dehydrate all my nuts but I've never tried making these with them wet. Maybe that's why they didn't turn out?

I agree - just soak and dehydrate the nuts first and then use them in a recipe!

I like to make these and my girls love them.  There are many variations!

I also like these - again many variations!

Like the PP said, once you get the general formula, it is easy to mix and match and come up with your own.  I have done them with just raw nuts, and also with soaked/dehydrated.
