I really need help writing an appeal. I really am not good at this kind of thing. Anyone have a few minutes to help me get started?
This is what happened:
I have NALC-Cigna insurance
My midwife is a CPM which is legal in Colorado.
Her billers did a test billing which was covered. Then after he was born they paid her in full.
About a year after he was born we were sent a letter saying that they reviewed the payment and found that she was a CPM who they don't cover so please write them a check for $3000!
Any suggestions? I really don't have $3000 to fork over to them. Any help is really appreciated.
