What are your babies going to be for Halloween this year?

They don't celebrate it here but we're going to dress our little guy up anyway and take some photos of him smile.gif I bought a light pink onsie and matching tights today because homeboy is going to be a plump, grunting, rooting, oinking piggy for Halloween! Lol! I'm so excited about it and my South African DH is so bemused by Halloween but he's totally on board! I'm going to make felt ears and trotters. Can't wait!

I made a bumblebee costume probably just three or four months into pregnancy with this Baby Five. It's a black/yellow striped romper and little hat with feeler things. If I would have known I'd have a Leo,I would have made a lion costume! wink1.gif

My 3 year old decided this summer that she was going to be a witch and baby would be a cat heartbeat.gif.  She really wanted DD1 (6yrs) to be a witch too, but the important point was for DD3 to be a cat to go with her witch.  DD1 initially insisted that she would be a princess, but then we found a witch costume identical to the one we'd gotten for DD2, so she decided to be a matching witch.

For the baby I did a pink fleece hoodie with a cat hood from Old Navy.  I'll probably put her in pink pants.  DD2 wants me to add a pink tail too, so I might do that, but I'm REALLY not crafty, so maybe not.  I'm assuming she'll be in the sling anyway, so a tail really wouldn't show anyway.

I just got this little skeleton bodysuit for her.. we're just going to stay in and pass out candy, so nothing too involved.

Katie wants to be a princess and she wants Cameron to be a dragon. I usually make costumes, but I'm being realistic this year and buying them. I found a Carter's dragon hoodie and pants outfit on eBay for $5 shipped and ordered it, still looking for the perfect princess dress.

Baby? Undecided lol.gif Probably nothing unless I find a peapod costume at the thrift store.  I could knit her a pumpkin hat, but I don't have the right needles.  I wonder if I could knit it in the round...

DD1 (4yo) has wanted to be a monarch butterfly since last year- she saw the wings at Target.  This year I made sure to buy those wings early before they sold out.

DD2 (2yo) wanted to be a butterfly just like big sister, so we got her wings as well.  I think they're blue or purple.  Not sure, they're in the closet, lol.

DD is going to be Belle (Beauty and the Beast) and I just won a fleece cow costume for DS.  Cute because DD "bought" him a cow "lovie" as his birthday gift, so I thought I would go with that theme!

We are going with a star wars theme. DD is going to be princess leia. DS (13 months old) is going to be yoda and DH is going to carry him around in the hiking backpack. DH is going to be Luke Skywalker (carrying around yoda on his back like when he was in training to be a jedi), Im going to be lady jedi. princess leia was the only infant sized girl costume and I dont want to be "sexy leia" which seems to be all there is in adult size. DH picked these costumes out for me-

Not going to happen, ever. Can you tell we haven't DTD yet? haha. Sorry that was probably TMI.

Our daschund/jack russel rescue doggie is going to be dog vader. Yes, we actually found a dog vader costume.

Our dog actually looks like this dog too, except he has a really short coat.

Should be pretty funny. We have a couple parties to go to and may go around to a couple of close neighbors to trick or treat (and we eat the treats.... )
