transitioning into regular cycle

My baby weaned herself about 6-7 weeks ago. I had a great stretch of mucus and then my period 2 weeks later, and no temp rise, so I know I didn't ovulate. Then I had another great stretch of mucus and inner body changes indicative of ovulation, but then after 3 high temps, my temps lowered and I am getting my period after a very short luteal phase.

Just want to make sure this is normal when transitioning back into a regular cycle after nursing?

From everything I'm reading, it sounds normal. Vitamin B6 at 50-100 mg (start at 50 typically) per day can help lengthen your luteal phase if you want it to happen faster.
