Hi everyone –

I am a graduate student and freelance writer, and I’m working on a piece about childhood obesity and weight loss. I am hoping to interview families in the Vancouver, BC area about this issue.

 

I struggled with my weight throughout my childhood, and I absolutely understand how difficult and sensitive this topic is. I am hoping to reduce some of the stigma and shame surrounding childhood obesity by writing about it from the perspective of children and their families. I am willing to change names and identifying details so you and your children remain anonymous.
