Just had to share! I had my anatomy scan today, at 19,3. Baby is good! Confirmed it was a boy, I was still in denial I think, lol. He weighs about 11 ounces already! Omg, time is flying. The tech did find that the umbilical cord is inserted about 2cm from the edge of the placenta, which I guess is something to keep an eye on as time goes by. She said it's probably fine, but it could cause some growth issues later on. . My dr didn't seem worried though.

Congrats!!  So cute!!

I just showed this to DSS7 to show him what was going on in my uterus, too.  He asked if that was a baby boy.  I said, actually yes.  He asked if it was mine.  I said no.  He didn't hide the disappointment in his voice - LOL!!  He's made it very clear he wants a baby brother.  We're team green (and I'm not so secretly hoping for a girl) so I hope he rolls with whatever comes out.

Awww, sweet boy! I'm sure he'll fall in love with whatever you have, that baby will probably have him wrapped around her/his finger. That's what happened with my last baby and my oldest. She adores him!
