it's so great that we're so close to seeing our little babes. the birth beads are so eclectic! i'd love to see pictures of what everyone does with theirs.

Received the beautiful beads! My boys all excitedly helped me string the beads onto my crochet thread, and I crocheted this necklace: http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/simple-crocheted-necklace-with-glass-beads

It looks so much prettier than the one in the picture. It fits twice around my neck and all the beads look so lovely on it! I'll post a pic when I get my camera back from where my husband has it at work. :)

I got mine too! I don't know what to do with them yet.. i've got too many projects going right now but i will come up with something soon - i was thinking i might make a bracelet but after seeing them i think they'll do better on a necklace ..

I got mine too! I can't wait to make a necklace with them.  The plan is to wear it during labor but we will see how I feel during labor.  It was so nice reading all the explanations.  Thanks again Kelly Beth!

Thanks! I have the link posted a few posts up from a Ravelry pattern. It was very simple... Basically you just string all the beads on some crochet thread, then chain 8, bring up a bead, hook some thread around it, chain 8 and repeat to end... then connect so you have a long necklace. It was just the right size to double over my head.

not perfect, but i got it put together! (too bad my 6yr old was playing with the turtle and i didn't realize it until it was too late :()

just checking in to make sure everyone received their beads by now. i sent them out a while ago but with the holidays i never know how the post works for canada, etc.
