Kinda Crazy, But.... « Back to Group Discussions

I want to share something with the group. I know this will sound insane, but a few weeks ago I went to see a spiritual guide/medium. Right? I know. Everyone who thinks that's cray-zee should probably stop reading now, FYI. ;)

A friend recommended this to me, and based on how much I love and trust this friend, I went. Among the many things involved in our conversation, the guide, Page, had a lot to say about my son. I told her nothing about the birth, just that I had a child who was (at the time I saw her) 15 months old. She said - you didn't birth the way you wanted, did you? And I said no. I didn't. I planned it one way, and it came about in a totally opposite way. 

She said, your son is whispering to me, "She doesn't realize it yet, but I already taught mom a big lesson." And then, as I left her place, Page said, "I know this sounds weird but your son keeps saying to look at your phone. He wants you to look at it. That's all. I don't know why."

So I flipped on my phone and this quote appeared on a facebook post on my phone. Synchronicity. I think the universe is trying very hard to help me heal and to realize that the birth was a gift, not a curse. This was the quote:

Wow, mama, that is just so beautiful. It makes me think that gifts don't always come in the packaging we're expecting. In fact, there are lots of myths and stories about gifts that show up disguised as something ugly or undesirable or damaged. It is a great thing to open up to the idea that a gift is possible in something so unwanted and apparently ugly. I'm going to try that for myself.

For the record, I don't think you're crazy. Not at all.
