Need 2 narrowest cheapest harness seats for toddlers

The two kids I nanny for are 3 and 4 and roughly 30-35 pounds.  Occassionally, it would be nice to take them plus my one year old son all in the car together.  I have him in a combi cocorro right now.  Can I do 3-across?  I have a super small car!  It's a Honda Fit.  maybe it's not even possible.

If it is possible, I would prefer to not spend a lot because it's a rare occurrence.

Both toddlers forward-face in their parents' car.  My son obviously rear faces.

thank you, carseat experts!

I don't know specifcally for the fit.  You could see if 2 maestros will fit, but I'd guess that's iffy.  2 radians would most likely, but they are spendy.

See if you can fit two Guide 65 Sports ($79, Walmart) in there. A Maestro would be a little cheaper but is also a little wider and I have my doubts as to whether it would fit.

What is the torso height on the kids? Are they short enough to fit in Cosco Sceneras? Maybe a Scenera for the smaller child (to save $$) and the Guide 65 for the larger child might work.

thanks, guys!

The four year old rides in a Cosco Scenera at home, I'm almost certain.  And I know those are pretty inexpensive.  I didn't know they were narrow- I'm going to look into that.  I'll look up all of these mentioned.  thank you so much

Just because he rides in one at home doesn't mean he still fits in it. ;)

But yes, Sceneras are pretty narrow. Not quite as narrow as the Coccoro, but they fit 3-across in most small back seats. Same with the Guide 65. I think they're about the same width.

The Sunshine Kids Radian XTSL were supposed to be the narrowest when we were looking to fit three in the back of our honda civic a few years ago. They're not cheap, though :(
