I am pregnant and due in Feb and I know the Whole Child Center in Oradell only takes newborns. I put in an email to them to see if they take newborns and their siblings? I hate the idea of having two pediatricians. But anyway still looking for a pediatrician for my other two kids as well. Thanks!!

Hi there! I don't know of anyone great in NJ, but Dr Zatz in Nyack, NY is fantastic (just a few minutes across the border). He is supportive of a wide range of choices & is a lovely human being. I just took my 4 month old to see him & I was impressed. My baby was born at home, is fully breastfed, no vaccines, etc and he was supportive. Hope this helps!

-. Karl Russel-Brown in Plainfield has been great about my alternate vax'ing schedule and we recently had a great conversation in which he agreed with me that if I could find chicken pox, I'd be better off exposing my kids than vax'ing.

Good Luck!

Dr. Bacha DO in Tenafly and Dr. Schlachter in Essex Fells are both wonderful, are open to no and alternative vaxing and are taking patients. I switched to Dr. Bacha a few years ago and it was the best decision I could have made.
