Food-wise I can't wait to get some queso dip (my DH promised to make me some with havarti and I'll be dipping pretty much everything in there orngbiggrin.gif ), ice cold apple cider, and some polish sausage and sauerkraut eat.gif . Non food-wise I would love some peace and quiet so I can take a nap, watch a movie, then take another nap. Niiiiiiiice...

my earliest cravings were for beets and peanutbutter and pickle sandwiches....then cheese....and then carbs.....and now most of my cravings have passed...for the moment!!

i, too, could use some "down" time...as could my boobs :)

I hear you on the hurt boobage BabySmurf! DS2 is nursing like crazy right now dizzy.gif . I think he's working on some big-time growth developmentally and physically and he wants milk aaaallllll the time.

I guess I'm not having real, true hardcore cravings you know? Just when most things don't really sound all that great to me except something(s) really specific. Yeah, that's what I got lol. I've been having a lot of beets, beet juice blends, and cheese as well. Had some almond butter yesterday and that was oh so yummy yummy.gif .

Coffee crumb cake today. yummy.gif

right this second, nothing.  However, at one point I wanted coffee ice cream and I wanted cold apple cider at the same time.  However, I did NOT mix the two LOL

I am at that point where I'm nauseated and don't really want much of anything. Except quiche, which my DH lovingly picked up for me today from the only organic, local restaurant in town! Oh, and a sweet potato souffle to go with it. ;)

I keep feeling like I want something a little sweet... the coffee crumb cake mention above sounded delicious... but I just have the strong feeling that if I eat anything sweet right now, it will just make everything so much worse.

So yeah, quiche.

I have more aversions than cravings. Strangely, I don't crave sweets like I do when I'm not pregnant. I can't stand artificial smelling food for instance Doritos or anything similar. I do crave salt.
I really crave sleep! I've even laid down to rest in the afternoon the past two days. Unfortunately I couldn't sleep but the rest was nice!

I am super nauseated and have a hard time eating. I seem to only want french fries and a sandwich.  I feel bad I have sometimes can't cook for the family. Thinking about avocados a lot lately..I am waiting for mine to get ripe.

I've been sooooo sick for almost an entire week, but last night I wanted steak fries. It popped into my head and I couldn't stop thinking about them - my sweet husband found a recipe online (he's not a bad cook, but rarely ever does it and is super rusty!) and made me some.

I fell asleep before they were done, so he ate them and made me more for lunch today. :)

For me, cravings come later...2nd or 3rd trimester. 1st trimester is super rough aversions...usually to EVERYTHING. It's tough for me not to lose weight.

I wish! I've also been having more aversions than cravings. Everything just tastes so bad and blah. I remember LOVING food while pregnant with DD. Not the case currently. greensad.gif

I definitely remember hating food during the first tri right on into the start of the second with DS1 and DS2. Everything was so, so , soooo nasty, blech. This pregnancy, thus far it looks like as long as I eat constantly (lots and lots of protein, meat and cheese seem to work the fastest) I'm keeping the sickies under control. So different than the other two times! I'm 6W1D today so there's time for the full on misery yet! Just now I had to eat right this very second b/c I could feel it coming. My kids are just privateeyes.gif since they usually want to eat all their food and mine too eyesroll.gif lol but yeeeeeah, that's just not happening children nono02.gif .

I had the most delicious, perfect pluot yesterday and now that's all I want. That and raw red bell peppers tossed in this citrus and roasted garlic dressing I make eat.gif .

I can't believe I haven't craved anything yet. Just feeling a little quesy in the morning. I have had 2-3 cups of coffee every day since I was 16 and I don't even crave coffee after cutting it out cold turkey. I am shocked.

pepsi...

Which is funny since I never drink pop. I did manage to find some pepsi throwback, so it is made with sugar not HFCS. But I'll only drink it when I absolutely cannot help myself.

fried food sounds good too. I have some polenta fries chilling in the fridge - hoping they will satisfy the craving.

lol, my mommy used to love her some Pepsi smile.gif . I've been wanting to try some dry sodas. Usually I mix some juice or whatnot in with some soda water/sparkling mineral water and that satisfies me w/o the steeper price tag. Maybe I'll try doing my own dry soda versions and see what I come up with. Something about the fizziness with the sweetness that's just super yummy!

I love the Pepsi throw back. It tastes like 1985 in a can.

The Pepsi craving is the total opposite for me - I've never been able to give up my Diet Pepsi - but this baby has decided it for me. Can not STAND it anymore...gags me.

I've got a mean hankering for some granny smith apples (with peanutbutter)

This sounds AMAZING and all I can think about (I LOVE red bell peppers!) What is this dressing you speak of?

I crave chocolate milk/milk shakes and burgers. Mostly, other cravings like red life savers come and go. I found since I started to double my protien, cravings and sickness are significantly less.

Ohh! A chocolate milkshake and burger sounds excellent right about now! I have to have it innocent.gif .

So what I usually do is wrap an olive oil drizzled bulb of garlic in an aluminum foil pocket and roast it in the oven anywhere from 350-400 degrees (depending on what else I've got in there at the time). While that's working I squeeze the juice of a lemon and/or lime into a blender, add some raw ACV, salt, pep, granulated garlic, granulated onion (what can I say, we love garlic and onions! lol), a little raw honey, some extra virgin olive oil, and eventually the cooled roasted garlic (so it doesn't cook the honey); give it a few whirls on pulse and voila, 100% pure yumminess yummy.gif . Just got back from the farmer's market not too long ago and yes, this is what I'll be having in a bit. I've been eating it for the last 3 days or so and can't get enough drool.gif .
