Just tell my nose. I don't know what to drink now when I go out. What's liquidy hot goodness without caffeine? It's pretty limited. At home I drink ginger tea with blackstrap molasses, a great vegan calcium source. I can probably get my local coffee shop to carry it for me, because they don't know what to serve me now anyway. I usually don't need to order they just start when I walk in. I've been eating big meals. I like it when my waist looks preggo not blubbero. Mostly I just miss my coffee aka liquid naps.
What about some sort of steamed vegan milk with spices (cinnamon, cardamom, ginger, etc. and so on) added? Sweeten it up with, well, whatever lol. Add a little coconut whipped cream yummy.gif . Or some hot apple cider with cinnamon. And I know you said w/o caffeine but hot chocolate is always a win for me orngbiggrin.gif . Or what about hot lemon and honey tea with a little grated lemon in there. Or plum tea?

With my first I wanted sweets non-stop, and I indulged that craving (to the tune of almost 40 lbs) but this time I can't handle sweet stuff. All I want right now is salty savory meaty cheesy goodness. I can still stomach fruit, thankfully. I don't even want chocolate, which is so unlike me.

I am having trouble with not being able to eat things now.  Kale in my soup yesterday made me choke.  Chicken and turkey made me feel gross.  Yesterday I went to Taco Bell and got a bean burrito.  It hit the spot.  Then I had cheese pizza for dinner and it went down real smooth.  I was feeling really sad about it yesterday because I felt so crappy and felt like I need to eat constantly but my favorite foods were killing me.  I got a decaf peppermint mocha, and I ended up throwing most of it away.  There goes my holiday season!  Maybe the peppermint hot chocolate will be ok.  I'm not really craving anything at the moment, but carbs are my friend.

I've been having issues finding food that I actually want to eat, but tonight we made scrambled egg, cheddar and apple wraps (sooo good) and this morning I made a smoothie out of frozen blueberries*, Orange Juice*, pears*, a banana*, whole milk greek yogurt*, pecans*, and some coconut oil* and ooooh... my.... god. It tasted absolutely divine, AND it gave me a great boost of energy that really helped me feel better!

Still craving meat and savory stuff. But the chocolate/peppermint combo has piqued my interest. There is my old trusty sweet tooth!

Tonight I'm being a bit naughty and ordering Chinese. Beef with broccoli, kung-pao chicken, and beef fried rice.

The aversions seem to letting up some and it doesn't look like crap is where it's at anymore so that's awesome. Real mashed/whipped potatoes with butter, as opposed to instant flakes with TBHQ for freshness or whatever, sound fantastic lol.gif . I want spring rolls, specifically from this Malaysian and Thai restaurant up the street and apple pie drool.gif .

I'm craving all my old comfort foods. I want naturally flavored chips with sour cream, pizza, egg sandwiches, pancakes with peanut butter and a little honey, sweet tea, baked potatoes with sour cream and butter, mashed potatoes and gravy. Yep, I think I'm going to get fat this pregnancy. At least I have experience taking the weight off. It hurts/ makes me feel disgusting/nauseated if I don't eat all the time. I hope if I throw some veggies and fruit in there that will help avoid too much weight gain. I thought I could have more self control, but now all I'm thinking is survival. LOL

The one thing that I crave mostly now that the nausea has subsided, is mandarin oranges!! I eat probably 5-7 oranges a day. Which I'm glad cause they aren't bad for me!
I've also been craving anything spicy. Tacos or burritos, spicy chicken burger from a fast food restaurant. Haven't indulged in that yet though. I've been staying far away from fast food. But my husband has cooked me some spicy steak bites to help with the cravings. But the spicy-ness kinda makes my tummy ache later.. But it's almost worth it! Ive also suffered some heartburn from it, and I know it'll only get worse as the baby gets bigger!

OMG, I totally had to try really hard to refrain from stealing someone's McDonalds at the playground the other day.  Yuck! But seriously, it was intense....I figured that probably meant that I needed more fat, so I have been dousing all of my food in butter and olive oil....ah-mazing! And no more cravings for McDonalds, lol!

So what I usually do is wrap an olive oil drizzled bulb of garlic in an aluminum foil pocket and roast it in the oven anywhere from 350-400 degrees (depending on what else I've got in there at the time). While that's working I squeeze the juice of a lemon and/or lime into a blender, add some raw ACV, salt, pep, granulated garlic, granulated onion (what can I say, we love garlic and onions! lol), a little raw honey, some extra virgin olive oil, and eventually the cooled roasted garlic (so it doesn't cook the honey); give it a few whirls on pulse and voila, 100% pure yumminess yummy.gif . Just got back from the farmer's market not too long ago and yes, this is what I'll be having in a bit. I've been eating it for the last 3 days or so and can't get enough drool.gif .

Wow, I seriously had constant images of this in my head last night after reading through these posts. i copied down your recipe. I still have yet to make this dressing with the red peppers, but it sounds sooo good, I couldn't stop dreaming about the bulb of garlic. The same thing kind of happened the night before when I made lentil soup and my husband loved it and then I had dreams about lentil soup being a type of medicine. lol.

Some of these foods sound SOOOO good... while others... well, notsomuch. Since last night, I'm onto a new craving: molasses! I made a cup of hot chocolate (using milk, not water) with a Tbsp of molasses in it and it was amazing! Now I need to buy some more butter so I can make cinnamon molasses cookies... oh god.

Oooh, all those sound so good! Chocolate milkshake, give it to me full sugar and full fat with a big pile of french fries for dipping. If only DH would allow such sugar indulgences! Seems the health nut is me is on hiatus. French fries, deep dish pizza, a double cheeseburger from mcdonalds with fries, taco bell, string cheese, black licorice and eggnog. I don't even like fast food normally! Now, if I see the golden arches.... I'm hardly managing to control my cravings.
