For those that were not aware, there is a monthly birth circle gathering in Wilmington, North Carolina, held on the 3rd Saturday of each month (usually). Hosted by a local doula network, it's a free meeting for those that are pregnant, already have children, thinking about becoming pregnant, or just passionate about birth. In a safe space, people share their birth stories or experiences and can be supported by others, ask questions, or just listen to others share. The next birth circle is this Saturday, 10/20/12.
