Other lesbian moms? « Back to Group Discussions

I was wondering what other lesbian moms were out there in our DDC.  I was the non gestational mom last time and the pregnant partner this time.  It is such a role switch in some ways.  My partner feels weird expecting a baby and feeling fine...you know because last time she was so sick.  I am showing really early which makes it hard not to tell people and she really wants more people to know so it feels more real.  Its interesting.

Me! My wife and I are expecting our first babies (triplets). I am carrying.

That is so awesome!  The cool thing is that since your triplets will be your first you will never know the difference.  It will just be natural for babies to come in threes to you guys.

Ha, that is actually the joke. My wife was going to carry next...but now we are rethinking things. It would be our luck that she would have triplets as well! There are a few other queer folk on here as well--a couple of them are from the Queer Conceptions board.

Me! I carried our first (3.5 daughter) and I'm carrying again this time (almost 15 weeks).

I am due April 29th so I feel equally part of both April/May due date clubs. I carried our first daughter who is genetically related to my partner.  Now I am carrying our second baby who is genetically related to me.

I am not, but DH and my close friends are.  They have one daughter, age 2, and are thinking of trying for the next and final baby; the opposite partner will carry this time.  Cheers to you!
