I have very various lenght cycle... Well, that's not true. For the last 6 month they just constantly increased..from 32 days to 50 last time. Now I found I'm pregnant... I might have between 3 and 5 weeks done so far. The birth center gave me 14th June for a date. I'm scared it's more likely to be the 30th...and that they'll act like I'm "overdue" after the 14th. :S

will you have an ultrasound? that might help clarify your dates.

I am not usually one for unnecessary U/Ss. But perhaps in your case it might be good to clearly know your dates as it could assist to avoid all the pressure you will undoubtably get if you go 'over due'.

My guess is also HCG levels could help give an indication of where you are? Do you have an idea when you O?

HCG won't give you a great idea, though...the ranges for 'normal' are SO varied. A 'normal' 6 week number could also be a 'normal' 4 week number, you know?

An early ultrasound, however, will be able to give you a decent date (+/- 5 days, they usually say).

Any chance you charted and know your ovulation date? That'll help a lot with dating, too.

I didn't charted, but according to my glaire (sorry, what's the english word for that?) I think I O the first week of October. Pregnancy symptoms began last week (nausea) so I'm betting I'm 4 week pregnant. When symptoms usually starts? (I know this might be different for a lot of people....) for my DD I started nausea the 3rd week and for my DS it was later (I also stop being nauseus after 3 weeks, compared to 7 months for my daughter!).

I don't want that extra ultrasound, thought. Last time they date us at 7 days over the date I calculated based on ovulation, and I gave bith bang on my date, not theirs! So now I'm labelled as having my babies early...

Ah! but for now who cares about the date... I'm just so happy I'm pregnant :D thanks for trying to help!
