Babywearers come look! Just sharing a recent photoshoot « Back to Group Discussions

I have the good fortune of having some very talented and lovely friends one of which is a professional photographer {birth and babies and such} and another of which owns a well known woven wrap business online. These things collided recently when one hired the other to do a professional shoot for her business and asked me to be part of it since I can wrap a toddler and because I VERY pregnant toddler wear and because I am generally interesting to look at and I got some beautiful family photos out of the experience plus lots of quality time spent with some of my most treasured friends and their kids!

a dear friend birthed twin girls September 20th and allowed us all to play with her girls as if they were our own--these are the little babes I was gushing about holding a few weeks ago. SO the wee babes are twin sisters about 5lbs and 4 weeks old and the big girl is wrapyourbaby's eldest DD and the blonde girl is my 3y3m DD, who say her friend wrapping up a baby and immediately said, 'I wanna wrap Charlie, Mom!' Made my heart melt! 

So exciting!

Thanks mamas! I am so awestruck by the photos of all the young girls! Cannot wait for Jocelyn to wrap our new baby, too {while sitting}. I am really quite amazed at the level of attention she is already showing this baby. As an only child it has always been a huge dream to have a large family and I am so happy that we are adding another <3

THe funny thing is that DD is literally a clone of her father except she has my hair color {mine was as light as hers until I was pregnant with her and hormones changed it a bit darker} yet I cans ee her resemblence to me in that last pic! It is crazy how someone can look SO much like one parent, but also resemble the other parent, too. People think DH and I are siblings though--we def. look like we come from the same family {WE DON'T--haha}.

Wow, your friend totally captured your and DD's brilliance! And new baby's too, can't forget that. What special snapshot of a time in your lives that will never be again. I'm sure you'll treasure these over the years.

ALso, this same friend/photo is shooting the birth pro bono for me <3 What an amazing gift!

mamaH - that IS a great gift, having your birth shot for free! I am SO excited to have a photographer this time, especially as it is my last. And how great you got to get some maternity shots, too! I am doing those in a couple of weeks; again, last pregnancy, I was the photos!
