Private forum approval

So I'm curious has anyone else tried to get approval to the private forum? I meet the criteria and submitted my request a several days ago but haven't heard anything. Do we get a PM that says we were approved or if we weren't why?

I wonder if she's busy.  I have been having the same experience.  Submitted a few days ago but no response.

the person listed finally pm'd me (after I'd been asking a few weeks) and said she's asked to be taken off several times. PM broodymama or darkblue0729 instead. I just pm'd broodymama this am, so I'm hoping to finally get access, otherwise I give up! Sheesh!

I'm in the private forum. I've been a member of MDC for a while, though, even though I don't visit much any more. When I sought approval, it took a couple or three weeks iirc. At that time, they'd look at a members posts to make sure they didn't have a vendetta against uc, make sure they had the required amount of posts, etc. It took time to do all that.

 

The post above sounds like they've been going through some shifting. We could use some "new blood" to increase the postings, so I hope you ladies are soon approved.

I am approved for the private forum and there have been no new posts (like not even 1) in many weeks. I wish it were busier because I do have questions I would like to ask in there but I don't think many other current UC'ers are approved to go in there for whatever reason.

I'm sorry ladies, I've had some health complications that have kept me largely offline.  Now I'm working through the technical side of getting you added (can't seem to get it to work for some reason), so I'm checking with the admins and I'll get back to you as soon as I can!

Awesome! I've been waiting for approval quite awhile and I would really like to get more info about UC.

Broodymama, hope you feel better soon! I, too, am having issues adding folks and have some PMs in to admins....for those of you waiting on approvals, please know that I am not ignoring you!! FWIW I just UC'ed our 4th baby on 12/20 :)

Good to know. Thanks for the update, ladies, and I hope you're both doing well! 

 

I imagine once those of us waiting to get in are approved, the private forum will pick up again. Regular infusions of new posters tends to be the key to keeping smaller boards active.
