Opinions on baby girl name?

Avalon Quinn

This will be her name but I just wanted to know what some of you thought. I'm mostly getting the "oh, ok, that's nice I guess" responses. I picked Quinn right away & wanted an A first name but really did not like anything, with any letter, lol! Hubby picked Avalon & our teen daughters really like it & I don't hate it so... that's her name :)

I think it's beautiful.  I picture an amazing girl growing into an amazing woman.

When I was pregnant with DD, DH and I picked a girl name and a boy name (she was a surprise) with the caveat that once baby was born, if the name didn't suit the face/personality then we would choose something else. DD was born and we took one look at her and said "Hi little Kassie" - we had picked Kassandra Diane for a girl. I just felt much more relaxed about the name, knowing we were open to changing our mind if it didn't seem to fit or didn't feel right.

Btw i really like Avalon Quinn. To me it is unique without being too trendy/weird. it puts me in mind of a regal queen with a streak of amazon warrior. She's not going to have three other girls in her class with the same name for sure :-)

My first thought reading "Avalon" was far from a car brand- I didn't even know.

but I LOVE it. I love arthurian mythology and Avalon is this heaven on earth place.

I wouldn't name my girl that name thought, because we live in a French place, and it litteraly sound like "swallowing"...urh.

I honestly did think Toyota initially, but so what? She'll own it and make it her own. It's a pretty name and I've always been partial to Ava I have a little girl with a strong A name too...

This. That's a really awesome name. Quinn is on my list for this babe, and DF is considering it. I really like that name. :)

I thought of the island, Avalon, off the coast of California. It is an innovative name, very cool.
