What are you doing for yourself to savor and enjoy being pregnant?
This story makes me HUNGRY. (I must be in the second tri!)

I was the first in my (NYC) friend group to have kids, and most of our friends still don't have kids. This changed many friendships, especially those that were based on a more "going out" kind of ethos. Honestly, I would just consider myself "friendly" with those people now, but never really see them. Many of our close friendships have stayed intact, however, and those people totally love and enrich our kids' lives!
Having kids made me go out and "friend date" for other moms. It took a couple of years, but now I have a really strong community and I LOVE my friends. So overall I would say that having kids has been a net benefit on my social life, believe it or not. Especially as a homeschooler, I end up socializing with other parents A LOT, so it was important to find people I "clicked" with (in addition to their kids and my kids also clicking!).
Do you watch TV? What shows are you into right now?
