Not yet. I will after I find out the gender (in 2 1/2 weeks on the 20th!!!) Then I will pick it out. I might have to pick out two, as I don't know what the weather will be like at the end of March (I am due April 6th, but having a c/s on march 29th)


Is there someone that (besides immeadite family) that is excited to meet your baby?

we have a bunch of friends in the groups we are in that seem excited. :) Some moreso that Dh's family  members :/

Nope, and I don't intend too lol. I did buy a pack of my favorite comfy undies in the next size up though and will probably buy one more. They're "bikini" style so they sit under my belly.

oh good one...I dont know. I want to...Just depends on when we find out...not sure I can sit on the gender card for a month while we wait for Christmas to reveal it....might just do a fun photo reveal online. Dont know. we are also planning a fun reveal for when we announce twins (once we get the confirmation)....nothing planned in detail yet as we are waiting confirmation but some fun ideas floating about.

Both of our children are using family names. Both daughters have one of our grandmothers first name and one of our mothers middle name.

What's the worst symptom you've had so far?

Heartburn! I had TERRIBLE heartburn around 11 weeks. I am SO thankful to have not had it in the last few weeks. 

Will you be co-sleeping or will your bundle have their own bed?

Co-sleeping, definitely!  We still co-sleep with our 2.5 year old, and when hubby works (50% of our nights, really), all 3 are in bed with me. :)

DH and DD usually call it Bip, but I call it Turducken (since pregnant ladies are basically turducken for zombes).

I'm taking a prenatal swim class, starting next week. I loooooove being in the water when pregnant, and while in labor, and I'm uncomfortable already at 18 weeks so I'm looking forward to the pool, and I guess they have a warm therapy pool to hang out in after the workout.  And bonus!- this means twice a week I get out of bedtime duties!

I love my sleepy wrap/boba for early on.  Can't get much more comfortable than that with a tiny baby!  Though I have a Calin Bleu that I'm working on softening up, since baby will still be pretty small during warm months and I didn't think the thick knit of the SW would be a great option while it's hot out.  Though I've never had much luck with wovens and comfort...hopefully it will work out though!!!

Are you having to shop for or switch to a different vehicle for once this baby comes?  Or do you have enough room in what you currently drive?

I don't have my own currently but I will be getting one with taxes in January or February.


What is one thing you were able to eat before but can't while pregnant?

We will need a bigger vehicle. We have a PT Cruiser and it won't be able to fit 3 car seats across.  Biggest problem though is we can't afford another car payment so we need to pay cash for a used one.  So we're saving saving saving. DH wants a larger SUV where as I want a van, but we haven't begun car shopping yet.

Ranch dressing! I used to eat it on *everything* but lately, I can barely stand it. It's terrible.

The baby will stay with us for the first... some amount of time, but once he/she gets older, we'll decorate part of either DS' or DD's current room to include some special decorations.

Oh I hope so! I've been meaning to start doing freezer meals for ages and have never gotten around to it. Hoping this will be a good kick in the butt to do it! I would love some tried-and-true favorites from you guys

Um... I'm having a hard time remembering what's been asked too... hmmm... how about: What is your favorite piece of baby equipment (swing? bouncer? wrap? etc...)

For my daughter, we enjoyed the ergo carrier; however, the one new piece of equipment that I am set on investing in is a snuza monitor, which clips onto the baby as they sleep and alerts you when they stop breathing. I think it would help me relax enough to get some sleep in the beginning.

What are you planning on doing with you baby's placenta?

We plant the placenta under a tree.

Do you have plans for a special gift for your other child/children for becoming a big sibling?

Not really. We have never really done that. We usually make big, bigger, biggest (sister/brother) shirts....but I forgot to do that last time...we will probably still do that this time. LAst time was a homebirth...I can't believe I forgot to do it...we've done it all three times we had an older sibling before lol. Poor fifth baby got left out LOL....we will remember this time...will be a fun project for homsechooling....painting and stenciling shirts and putting hand prints on them. :)


Suppose it doesn't matter if a question has been asked....if someone new answers it's still finding out new info :)

Even, though I am not a morning person, the morning. After that, my fatigue sets in BIG time :-(


Are you nervous for this birth?

First time mom here and I don't think I am. At least not at this point. I think I trust myself and my team that the natural birth will be okay. I think my DH is nervous. I hope the birth works classes and doula will reassure him.

What is one baby item someone gave you that was unnecessary?
