I need information and studies supporting co-sleeping

I got blasted this week by two of my sisters. They went on about the dangers of co-sleeping and importance of crib usage. Since all our children are grown or nearly grown, it doesn't matter to me what they think. However, I want to get the information to my nieces and nephews so they have information from *both* sides, before making their decisions. I'm sure their parents will present the crib info, so I want to show the other side.

Your help will be appreciated! Thanks!!

http://cosleeping.nd.edu is the website of Dr James McKenna of Notre Dame. It's probably the definitive source for pro co-sleeping info. I think Dr McKenna recently published a book about co-sleeping, too.http://www.amazon.com/Sleeping-Your-Baby-Parents-Cosleeping/dp/1930775342

Dr Sears has some info in his books and on his website, too. http://www.askdrsears.com

At the below link I have reviewed all of the studies used in a 2005 AAP publication in the Journal of Pediatrics. Attendant media releases hawked the dangers of cosleeping while a dissection of the very studies they used in their review supports the safety and benefits of cosleeping, when practiced on safe surfaces with safe bedding, when not impromptu, and when parents are non-smoking and not under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
