I felt flutters (but could never decide if they were real) starting at 12w4 days. I definitely felt one of my babies at 13 weeks, so this might be another active one. :)

I really did not think I would be posting on here so soon.  I've been feeling little fluttering that I could not completely dismiss as intestinally related since 9.5 weeks.  I felt my first at about 18 weeks, and my second around 16 weeks.  I was expecting this one around 14 weeks.

But this morning I was awake at 5 am (again) and my hand was on the right side of my abdomen.  I was in a weird, although comfortable position half on my back and with my legs on the side (I did say it was weird).  I did notice that it seemed like I could feel my uterus more in this position when I palpate.  It seems to be expanding quite quickly now.

As I lay there wondering, yet again, if  this little one was going to be ok, I got a simultaneous slither both under my hand externally and internally.  I have been having a lot of trouble remembering what the baby movement felt like.  DD was asking me to describe it before and I couldn't quite put my finger on it.  After this event this morning, there was no doubt in my mind what I had just felt.  I am 11 weeks 4 days and this is my 5th pregnancy.

This is my second babe, and I started feeling flutters last week. I just feel it in the evening after dinner when I'm relaxing on the couch. I'm 13 weeks.

It seems that I have a very active baby too. I've been feeling something since about 9 weeks, but trying to write it off as gas. Then last week I would feel something more definite just after DTD with DH. Then last night just after we went to bed I felt this sharp stab down there. I was lying on my right side and the stab was on the left. So I felt for it and could feel it on the outside. Then DH felt for it too, and he said he could definitely feel the baby. This is our earliest movement yet. Last night was 13w2d. Last time DH felt the baby at 16w, and with DS1 neither of us felt anything until nearer to 20w (can't remember right now exactly when)

My one concern though is how high up I'm feeling the baby. At 13 weeks it should barely be above the pubic bone, but I'm definitely feeling the top of the fundus just over half way up to my belly button, and the baby is almost as high.

Oh, these posts are so exciting! I thought I felt something twice already, but now I think it was probably just intestinal. I am so excited to join the club, soon I hope! 12 weeks now, so keeping my fingers crossed...

Hey ya'll. So I'm 14 wks today with #1 and haven't felt anything up til this morning where I got this crazy one sided feeling while lying in bed. It was a consistent bubbling feeling feeling, always in the same exact spot. I thought hm, maybe I just have to go to the bathroom but I have "gone to the bathroom" :P since then and this feeling won't stop. And now it's a combo of that same place on the right *and* more centered.

Is it possible the first time I'm feeling movement that the baby could be super active? I've been feeling it for a couple hours now every couple minutes.

I'm taking it with a grain of salt that is could be digestion stuff.

If you keep feeling it over the next several days, then it could certainly be baby!  They're still so small, it could also be baby if you stop feeling it for a while since baby could move further back or the like.

I had to share.  Last night DH got to feel baby move for the first time!!  I am 15+1 today so it was right on the 15 week mark, one week earlier than with DS.  It was so exciting for both of us.

My original due date from the midwife was May 1st then it moved to April 29th with my 7 week ultrasound.  I am 15 weeks right now and have not felt anything. I did hear the baby's heart only a few days ago so I know everything is fine. With my first I felt movement at 18 weeks. I keep waiting for it anytime now. Last time, I found the best time to feel movement was as soon as I lay down in bed for the evening.

I am 15w 3d with #2 and am fairly certain that I'm feeling movement. I just need to slow down what I'm doing and focus on baby.

:) cant believe we are all getting into 14/15 weeks.. and i agree lying down with my hand on my belly in the evening im deinately feeling allsorts!! 14w4d here :)

I am only 12 weeks but I think I am starting to feel things.  I'm still not sure it's baby though.  It's not the usual flutters.  It feels like the baby's body pushing but it seems to early for that.  I'm just trying to stay tuned in and hoping to feel more.

I am feeling a lot at 13 weeks!!! I felt some flutters where baby A is at about 10 weeks (I thought I was imagining it!) but only once. This past week, I have been feeling tumbling, fluttering, and rolling sensations around where baby B is. I have felt nothing so far around C...maybe where the baby is positioned? It is definitely exciting!

I just wanna go back to what I was saying about thinking I felt movement- I most def think it was not movement! I felt it all day long for an entire almost 24 hours and it was a fluttering feeling alongside the left side of my belly and a little underneath. Since it lasted all day long and now I havent felt anything since I am going to brush it off as something else. I'll be 15w this Wednesday and I've got this gut feeling (no pun intended hehe) that it's going to take me another couple weeks to feel something.

Once you feel something (I'm a first timer) do you then feel something everyday thereafter?

I'm struggling with this myself. Whatever I feel is always low on my left side, and definitely comes and goes. There have been gaps of a couple days where I don't feel anything, then periods of 30 minutes when I definitely feel something is up. We went to see a movie this weekend and between the uncomfortable chairs at that theater and whatever was going on in my belly, I had what felt like a muscle cramp on my left side - kind of like a side ache from running - so bad I couldn't move my leg around without really trying. I'll chalk that one up to ligament pain but it brings everything else I've been feeling into question.

Every night in bed I try to lay still for a while with my hand under my belly button and concentrate to see if I can detect something. Many times there is something pulsing which keeps me from sleeping, but I'm still not sure what it is.

Not necessarily, my first pregnancy I didn't. Once the baby is bigger, then yes, I would feel movement everyday because you feel nearly every movement including hiccups, but when they are small unless they are close to my belly or whatever, you can't feel them moving generally.

I still think I felt movement, but I can't be sure yet. Oh well, I'm sure I'll be feeling things for sure soon enough!

Kimble I get that pulsing feeling too. It's not painful it's just something I can't ignore. At first ti was fun feeling and then after the whole day I was like  ok yeah this is annoying now. I havent gotten that terrible ache you mentioned though. From what others have posted that def sounds like ligament pain.

Nice "location" btw though I have a feeling you'd know I'd notice it :P

Every time I see our cats play-tussling with one another, I think of you ladies with multiples. I hope you aren't going to be inadvertent hosts of ultimate baby kick-fighting championships!

This is my second and still no movement at 15w7d.  Last time when I felt movement it was very sporadic, until I took a flight at 19w and then I felt my daughter almost the entire flight (very very softly though). Unfortunately I have no plane trips planned this time.

A few weeks ago, I thought I may have felt the baby a couple times, but couldn't be completely sure it wasn't just bubbles.  I'm14w3d  now and haven't felt anything definite yet.  This is my second baby, so I'm hoping I start feeling little flutters soon!

I can already tell that this baby is not as active as DS was (is!).  I still don't feel movement every day (but maybe I'm too busy with DS to slow down and focus on it!) and I am sure I did with DS by this point.  And when I do, it is often just one strong "bop" and then that's it for a while.  We'll see.  If I am correct and this baby is less active I'll have to get over "Mommy fears" that something is wrong when I actually have to take more than 6 minutes to do kick counts.  DS was SO busy that it never took longer than that, and I often didn't count little movements, just big ones! 

Mamas with 2 or more: Did you find that activity level corresponded to gender? I am wondering if a less active baby might mean a girl this time...Once those finding out gender get their anatomy scans, we will have to see if there is any correspondence to gender and activity level!  I am curious!
