Discharge from penis... is this normal?

I am a second time mommy but this is my first boy... He is 8 months old and when I changed his diaper just now I saw a creamy white substance (almost a green/yellow tinge to it) on the tip of his penis.  He is not circumsized (if that makes a difference?)  Is this normal?  What is going on?  I was just alarmed as I've not seen this before...

Did you try gently wiping it with a warm washcloth?

Yes, I just wiped it away. It wasn't chronic, just a one time appearance and there were no other signs of concern... No redness or irritation visible.

Was just curious more so if anyone else has seen this and what it was...

Found a link that I think explains my sighting... A smegma pearl. It is smegma mixed with a little urine. Can be a little or a lot, can be whitish or tinged yellow or green.

^Yep. My little one had that once when he was a couple months old. I just wiped it away gently with a warm, wet cloth.
