We had the ultrasound last week and it's a boy! Now I get to worry about a genetic condition that runs in the family that affects boys. It's a 50/50 chance. Nothing life threatening, but still a concern.

We did the 3D ultrasound today...and it is simply impossible NOT to find out the gender with one of those things.

We are having a GIRL!

Thanks guys! It was a super fun photo shoot and I can't wait to get the rest of the pictures back! We put the balloons in a big wrapped box for the girls to open (they were at school when we had the u/s) It was so much fun and we had a great time!

I've felt 'girl' since the beginning, but wasn't sure if that was just wishful thinking on my part. *lol* DP wanted a boy, but only because he didn't want to have to worry about boys not being good enough to date his daughter.  *shakes head*  Whatever. *lol*

We had our scan on a Friday, but she had her ankles crossed over her junk, and then her arms in front of her legs!  She wasn't budging!  So, we didn't get to find out the sex, and since they also couldn't get the pictures they wanted of her heart, they had us come back a couple days later.

When we went back on Tuesday, she was far more active, and they got their pics, and got to see her bits. Yay!  She wouldn't stay still long enough for us to get a pic of them, but that's okay.

Very excited to meet Cadence Marie soon! I just *FINALLY* started feeling her dancing around in my womb this week, which has been nice!  Well, most of the time it's been nice - sometimes it's very awkward!

Two girls! Well, baby B is most definitely a she. Baby A was a little harder to see clearly. We'll have another scan in a couple weeks because the placentas appear to have fused together and the doc wants a specialist to have another look. But our little bees are measuring the exact same size and weight, so they seem to be sharing their space well for now. 6 months today!

Had another ultrasound yesterday where it was again pointed out to us that there were girl parts...so I think we are now definitely good to go on decorating the nursery in mint green and pink!! With two confirming ultrasounds the chances of an oops get much much slimmer!!

Found out yesterday that the friend of mine who DID find out at 34 weeks that her baby was a boy after all (and that little boy is close in age to my little guy so they are buddies) is going to be getting a little foster girl to adopt once she is born in February (they already have the little girl's two brothers in the home and close to adoption). So my girlie will also be getting a close in age friend in my friend's bunch of kids...which will number six kids total once they finalize the three adoptions!!

Ohh, please add me to the "Waiting to be Surprised" category! This is my first time to wait until birth to find out (well...unless you count my first, since they TOLD us he was a girl and he came out as a total surprise, LOL), so I'll be really excited to find out if my instincts are right this time around (totally feeling like it's a girl!).
