Blood blister on 4 yr old anus?

Is this possible? When I was wiping my 4 yr olds bottom tonight, I saw this spot that was dark blue/purple. It seems to be on the inner part of his anus because when he clenched I couldn't see it. What could it be?

I would guess that it is a hemorrhoid.
