So there was a question as to what happened with my situation...
I had insurance issues and a scheduled c-section....
well I started having contractions on Sunday but I decided to wait it out bc I didn't think it was real contrations. so I woke up Monday, went on with mild pain now so I figured it was BH... then around 2:30 contractions started to get more noticable but I still thought it was not real. At around 5 they were getting pretty bad, and at 5-7 mins. I decided to call my dr and she said I should go to hospital ... still thought they weren't the real thing so I took a shower, then we headed to the hospital and I got checked and was told I was in labor.... delivered my baby within 2 hours! I thought I was gna get sent home for sure LOL!

Ellie Rose was born 10/29/2012 at 8lbs 9oz 18.5 in
we're soooo happy, she's gorgeous and has more hair than I've ever seen on a baby!

Thank you! after I got all that information from you guys I looked into it, I called my sister bc she just had a vbac and she explained it in english lol I decided I was going to atleast try when it was time... I just didn't think I was going to be trying early I'm soooo happy!!!!
in ridiculous pain ( why am I in so much pain? I always see women looking.like it was a piece of cake) I did have a fever so they decided we're going to be staying in the hospital a few days more days... but its worth it.... we're sooo in love with her and she looks just like dad!

Yeah! Congrats! I'm so glad you got to vbac!

Don't worry too much about the temp thing, I usually run a little high after birth, part of it can be the body adjusting it doesn't always mean infection, but better safe than sorry!

Congratulations!  Good for you for trying!  Also, I was in pain after DD even through all the CS meds they gave me, I don't know how everyone else manages to look blissed out either.  :) Some of us get the rocky road birth.  Congrats on having such a smooth VBAC, that is so wonderfully encouraging!!!

What wonderful news. Congratulations, mama, and welcome, Ellie Rose! I know what you mean about assuming you're just having some mildly painful Braxton Hicks when you're actually in labor-- same thing happened to me! Hope you're recovering beautifully.
