No Movement?

I am 16w, 3d and have not felt any movement yet. This is my fourth baby and I cannot remember for the life of me when I felt the others move for the first time. I think I am just freaking myself out because I opted to skip every other appt, so I haven't heard the heartbeat in 5 weeks. I feel fine and my uterus is growing... but I wish this little one would kick me already!

Anyone else not feel movement?

I'm 16w as well...and not feeling it either. Honestly, I didn't EXPECT to feel it til 20 weeks, but since so many people have felt it earlier, I was hoping to, too. But...it WILL happen. And about 5 months from now we are going to feel bruised on the inside and wishing we DIDN'T feel it, LOL.

I'm 14 weeks and I haven't felt any movement, but also I do not expect to since I felt my daughter at 18 weeks (tentatively) and 19 weeks for absolute sure. I am also a little cautious about determining movement, since I knew a woman who was sure she was feeling her baby and then started to miscarry.  They did an ultrasound right away and saw that the baby already had stopped developing a few weeks ago. So the movement she felt was likely her body preparing to miscarry. After that, I like to be really really sure what what I feel is actually kicks and not other rumbles and churns.

I was solidly in the 17th week with baby #3. Hang in there <3

This is my 3rd, and I'm just now starting to feel daily movement in my 17th week.  My midwife said 17 weeks is awful early to feel, but I see so many mamas here that were feeling at 12, 14 weeks that it made me nervous too.

I'm backpeddling and what I thought was baby moving when I posted before, I don't think was. Everynight I lay awake on my back, focusing on my tummy to try and feel something but I feel nothing. I'm also still in normal clothes and I thought for sure I'd get big fast but I'm not. I did hear the HB Monday night so I think everything is okay. I almost posted yesterday but thought I was just being a worrywart. I do have a scan tomorrow and I'm hoping that puts me at rest.

I hope your scan goes well, and you feel reassured. *hugs*

Thanks for the reassurance! I was able to go to a local midwife and she checked for a HB real quick. It was hard to find, but it was there :) I am fairly sure my placenta is in front and that is why it's hard to find the HB and why I am not feeling anything. This happened to me with my last baby as well, and now I am vaguely remembering that I didn't feel her move until much later.

I felt DD around 20w, DS at 22-23w, and I've felt quickening with this baby around 12-13w, but nothing constant and nothing actually like a kick yet. I'm 16w,5d.

I went in to see the doc yesterday because I needed reassurance the baby was okay after having a few crappy days with my diabetes...he picked up the baby's HR right away, and asked if I had felt any movement yet. I told him I didn't think so, and he replied "Yeah, I think you'll be late in feeling it. That placenta is anterior."  So....anyway- now at least I feel like have a legit reason NOT to have felt any movement, lol. And everything is still fine. *Sigh*

I definitely felt more movement around 13 weeks than I have been lately (18w today.) I was told I have an anterior placenta as well. I feel very very slight bumps here and there but am anxious for the day that I feel them as well as I did 5 weeks ago.

I typically feel my babies move at about 13 weeks too.  and this is baby #4 for me too.  and still not feeling much of anything that I could remotely call movement yet.  so right there with ya...  I have an OB Appt on Wednesday.  Can't wait to hear Lovebug's HB.  :)
