Dh and I will be working on our budget this weekend and I am wondering if there is any good free software to help us. Our finances are simple just usual household expenses. TIA

I use www.mint.com and I love it. You can even go in and enter what you are doing with cash. It has changed how I handle money.

Personally, I'm a fan of GNUCash (http://www.gnucash.org), though I haven't used it a ton.

Another vote for mint.com. It even has a app that lets me check my accounts on the road.

I've heard good things about mint.com as well. I haven't used it, is it pretty good to use if you don't have bank accounts as well?

I used mint, but found it to be a pia to refresh my accounts every time that I visited the site.  Often the process I went through to refresh wouldn't work for me & it became very frustrating.  I wish this wasn't the case because I liked it otherwise.  I loved that I could plan savings and CC payoff areas that I could monitor & see what my goals were. Anyone else have this problem with getting Mint to refresh all of your accounts???

I didn't. Wonder if it was your bank acct that was problematic with mint??

I used chase at the time....

My bank account was most finicky, but I also had issues with my credit card accounts.
