I need to get baby to roll over. He's STILL on the right side on his side with his feet and hands toward my left. She said he'll probably be born sunny side up that way. Yippee. : { Mom said all 6 of us were but one flipped over in labor so she didn't have to go through all back labor 6x. Joy. But he's still not dropped at all.....

So Thursday at the chiropractor she said that she couldn't believe how low he is and that he is in the perfect position for birth. Yesterday I had lots of contractions mid-morning, which then died down to a general crampy feeling all afternoon, back to real, regular contractions early evening, but then by last night they stopped completely. I was so mad because all night I had the regular BH but none of the real contractions! But as soon as I got up this morning they have started up again. My mom is a nurse and she said she would be surprised if I wasn't already a little dilated (my midwife doesn't routinely check that kind of thing). I also had some mucous last night but no blood. I'm thinking this baby might really be here soon! Maybe I'll try binding my belly like y'all were talking about. My midwife did say something about him sticking out too far and that I should pull him up while tilting my pelvis-probably the same concept. Isn't this so exciting?

If only I could find my ring sling! I bought a moby wrap, but I keep hoping I'll find my old slings. I don't want to open it! :p My ring sling and wrap are homemade, I keep hoping I'll find them before she gets here.

I had my doula show me rebozo stuff, seemed to irritate my baby more than it helped me but I'm game to try it again for sure.
