I have my anatomy scan scheduled for Dec 11th. I did the last one possible, 7pm, so my hubby didn't have to take off work and we can bring the boys. I'm excited for my older son to see the baby on the screen. Just to make sure everything is going okay with baby though,we won't be finding out the sex.

I have my official anatomy scan today. Hope it's still a girl! LOL... Wouldn't that be something if she was a he after all? (I've had two diff docs say girl so far)

my mom got pregnant with my brother just as a teachers strike was ending when i was a kid so i never got to see a sonogram live and in action since we really couldnt afford any more time off school (one of the longest teachers strikes in our area ever, after that they made it so teachers cant do the picketing walkout strikes.) so the first baby i saw live on a sono was in my first pregnancy with our angel baby Alex.

Had my 21 week appointment today with the anatomy scan. The baby is still a girl and measuring right on schedule. The technician was not shy in sharing how pleased she was with everything she was measuring/seeing. She said that my placenta is no longer low and looks quite good as well. Baby was head down but that doesn't mean a whole lot this early on as they still have a lot of room to move. I got to see some good movement from the baby during the u/s which was super cute and even saw some good face shots.

Out of curiosity I asked my doctor to check the records to see if I had been anterior with DD1 and I was. I had thought so but couldn't quite remember. It does make me wonder how different it is feeling kicks. When I feel them now I really FEEL them but I know it's not as much or frequent as I would if I wasn't anterior. Who knows if I'll ever know the difference! It all depends on if there is ever a #3 and if I'm anterior then too.

Glad to hear your scan went well and it is still a girl!!  :D

Mine is Monday and I am starting to get nervous.  My measurements have still not evened out and while I know it is still likely 1 baby....  20w and I am measuring 26w.   I told myself I wouldn't worry as long as I didn't start measuring 6 weeks ahead (gulp).  Ahh well, just a few days and I'll know!!!  I swear at my second scan the subchorionic hemmorhage (sch) looked exactly like a second sac in size and shape and that is what makes me most nervous.  While I know they *shouldn't* miss a twin after 3 u/s, we all know that things like that DO happen...I will feel better knowing for sure!  I can't wait to find out gender!  I am so excited.  I have lots of movement that is easily felt/seen externally for quite some time now but am thin so this isn't odd for me.  Despite measuring ahead I have still only gained 3 lbs over my starting weight (I was down 5 after m/s...so 8 total).  So maybe there can't be two in there since you'd think I'd gain more by this point?!  Right ladies?!  What's hilarious is that the thought of twins only freaks me out because it would mean having to move up to a passenger van.  LOL!!!  But hey I suppose I wouldn't be leaving the house much would I?  lol

It's probably one.  Right? gulp.  Whatever the case is, I'm praying my sch is resolved and that the itty bitty is healthy!!  :D

I've wanted a girl this entire pregnancy(well, everyone else wanted a girl which made me want one lol), and now that we're having another girl, I caught myself really depressed and sad while going through DS clothes to donate/sell :(. This is 99.9999% our last baby, and I guess, with how much of a momma's boy DS is, I kinda am sad I won't have another little momma's boy not to mention I LOVE boy clothes/stuff lol. UGH, PLEASE SAY THIS IS JUST THE HORMONES! I love Calliope very much, but am just not excited like I thought I'd be :(

Our scan was first thing this morning. We had to wake DD up early and she was miserable THE ENTIRE APPOINTMENT. It did not make for a very special moment because she was being so rotten. But I'm excited to have a son again! And now I can have fun picking out fabric for all my sewing projects. :D

We think we've discovered a hearing problem in DD's right ear...hopefully nothing serious. We'll make an appt. with the family doc asap. I got so fed up with feeling like she never listens to anything I say and it suddenly hit me...maybe she isn't HEARING me! So DH did some "whisper tests" and she failed at least half on the right side, but got them all on her left side. Maybe it's just wax build up (fingers crossed) and can easily be remedied.

I'm sorry your DD was cranky. :( DD and DS get that way, too, if they have to wake up early, especially out of schedule.

When/if we can get the kids back on insurance, I'm going to have them test DS' hearing. He's forever putting his hand to his ear(s) and saying, "Huh? What you say?" when we try and talk to him, so I'm really worried that he's got some hearing issues. Thankfully, when we had DD tested, her hearing was fine, but, it still leaves us wondering what is going on. :( It's so frustrating. I hope you get answers soon.
