Do you *know* what sex your baby is?

When I found out I was pregnant with dd, I just knew that she was a girl. I was 100% sure... didn't even come up with a boy name. But this time, I just don't know. I don't feel strongly either way. Which has me being paranoid and wondering if that means there is something wrong. (Silly, I know.) So, do any of you know for sure with this one, or did you in the past? Or are you confused like me? I'm just curious about other people's experiences.

Ha! I was absolutely convinced that ds was a girl...nope, he is all boy! This time I have no idea. I don't know if its because I was wrong last time and don't want to go out on a limb or if I am just too tired from being pg AND chasing a toddler that I don't have as much time to obsess this time.

I am 100% sure that this baby will be a boy. I felt like dd was going to be a girl but I didn't trust myself with it being my first, but this time, I know.

I knew Alexis was a boy...she's a girl...
I knew Jake was a girl..he's not...

I knew Elijah was a boy...he is

I got no earthly idea with little appleseed here...luckily it really doesn't matter to me either way

I'm pretty convinced it's a boy but that is just because I am not as physically sick this time.

I had no real idea with my girls.

With my first I absolutely knew without a doubt it was a boy, even before I got pregnant. It was.
This time, I thought I would have another boy, but when I got pregnant it suddenly seemed like a girl. I think it is a girl but I'm not 100% sure of that.
I am usually good at guessing what people are having. I went about 4 years without getting any of my friends or relatives babies wrong, but lately I have been not so sure. I've guessed correctly, but I haven't felt very confident that it was correct!

With all seven of my children I knew, with this one,I'm hoping for a boy,(I hope I'm right, lol)

I really feel that this one is a girl just because this pregnancy is so different than my other 2. I'm so queasy in the afternoons and evenings that nothing sounds good, just the smell of food makes me naseous. I didn't have that at all with my boys.

My symptoms seem a lot different than with DS too. DH and I just have a feeling that it is a girl. I keep thinking in the back of my mind it may be another boy. Either way I'm thrilled with having another baby. I can't wait to find out...

No idea!

I did have a dream last night that I just gave birth, and a chubby baby boy was placed on my stomach. It was so vivid!

But, I am not convinced. We'll see!

I found out the sex of my kids by US with the first three, so these feelings are up to that point...

I don't know if I *knew* with my first, I just kind of expected it to be a boy. I didn't really have faith in my feeling, I guess, so I kept reminding myself and dh it *could* be a girl, lol.

My second baby was due 18 months after my first was born, so I thought it should just be another boy. I guess just because they would be so close in age, they should be brothers...silly, I know. So for that reason, I wanted a boy, but knew it was a girl. But when we found out it was actually a girl, I was thrilled to be having a daughter!

With my third, I knew it was a boy and he was. But kind of felt like I couldn't possibly get what I wanted again, so I must be wrong, lol.

This time, I had the feeling its a girl from the very begining. Occasionally, though, the feeling wavers. And sometime I think, yeah right, it's definately a girl. Other times I think, well, it *could* be a boy...

We will not be finding out the sex of this baby until it is born! With the other three, I didn't have the patience to wait. This time I have absolutely no desire to find out and would be thoroughly disappointed if someone ruined the surprise (so I will be avoiding any ultrasounds). I am really looking forward to the surprise aspect! I did want to experience that with my last one, but I just needed to know, lol. The first two, there was just no way I could wait!

Friendlymama,
I just wanted to tell you that with my first I felt like she was going to be a girl the entire time, but in ALL of my dreams (except one near the end) that I had during the pregnancy (and I had alot) it was a boy. It's just weird how that happens. I really wanted a girl and I felt like she would be a girl, but I think I was really trying to convince myself that it would be okay if it was a boy, YKWIM? LOL!

Alisha,

How interesting! I think you might be on to something. I hate to admit it, but I would love for my daughter to have a sister, more than I feel like I need or want to have a son. So maybe the dreams are functioning that way...

Geez, I have no idea. This is my first. My two best friends keep saying they are sure I will have a boy. I say why do you think this? And they say, I don't know, I just do!
I think we are both hoping for a girl, but i feel guilty hoping because really i already love whoever is there. (plus maybe he'll be a gay transexual and that will be fun too.) Is it really true that more morning sickness means a girl? I've heard this before. But my mom had two girls and no m/s at all. Hmm... I'm not going to find out the gender until birth, so I guess I have a long way to go with the guessing! What are some other "signs"? It would be fun to know some more. I heard if your butt gets big it's a boy, if your belly shows wide it's a girl... any others?
thanks!
Stanya
